Patriots Haters - Theory

Here's what I think you are going to find:

As the Patriots close in on an undefeated season, should they play hard enough for that to continue to be the case, more and more fans are going to forget about how tired they are about hearing about this team and how much they hate Bill Belichick and instead they are going to find themselves rooting for the Patriots to go 16-0 because they'd like to see it happen in their lifetime.

Don't get me wrong for the most part the people who hate this team will continue to do so but some are not going to be able to help themselves but to be awed by what this team has done so far and stands poised to do.

I think you can add to that the fact many fans are sick & tired of the "washed-up" '72 Dolphins undefeated record!

It makes sense. They must feel "This could be our year if only it weren't for..."

The Jets, of course, will hate us every year due to the rivalry.
