Gotcha. I’ve seen some players double up on numbers in years past.

We're doubled up in a few places currently (I think 74, 75, 77) but in pretty much all cases one of the players is almost certain to be cut so it won't matter much in the end.

I would keep Roberts (and only 4 DE's). The question is how much we need a 5th LB when we usually have 2 LB's on the field.

We have Van Noy, Hightower, Collins and Bentley. It would seem that either Bentley or Roberts would get almost no reps, and may not even be active.

No, I think they will get reps when the game plan for that week best uses the skills that those guys bring. They will play sub packages. There are 70 snaps to divy up. I am sure they will all see the field, and rather than send someone out there at 75% you roll our one of them for a game.

I don't know if any highlights were already posted but in case there hasn't, here's one.

Hopefully he can still have this level of play left. I'm going to like seeing him back here, I think.

  • No one had a better rep than Jamie Collins against a blocking sled, which is designed to naturally roll back to an upright position after getting thrown. When Collins went, he threw it with such force that it was stuck on its side.

Chase V and J Collins. Add Bennett.

The Pats pass rush is going to be crazy good.
More importantly; QB Pressure will be crazy good. That was the case last year. 2nd worst in sacks (tied with NYG), but created a lot of QB pressure.
