Sure, the Patriots didn't play their best.....at least on the offensive side of the ball.

Both the defense was outstanding.

Special teams would have been considered outstanding as well if Dion Lewis didn't lose a fumble. Seriously, with the kick return TD and Ryan Allen consistently knocking the Texans deep I'd say it was a very good night for special teams.

Sure, the offense looked clunky at times. They turned the ball over and had to resort to some unconventional plays (bombs to wide receivers) at times.

I think this game pretty much summed up why Pats fans and media were feeling so good about this game. The reality is that the Texans got pressure on Brady, forced 3 turnovers, stifled the offense at times AND STILL LOST BY 18 POINTS!!!!!!!!

I think this is a good setup for the AFC Championship Game.........you win but the coaches still have plenty of talking points to keep the players motivated and honest during the week of prep.
