So why is Zappe not catching **** for contacting a former coach outside the building like Mac did?

Because he wasn’t asking for help how to fix his coach or his teammates…

Zappe said don’t worry, I’m coming back stronger than before.

Is this a serious comment?

There's a world of difference between talking to a former coach after getting cut by the team and just needing a pep talk, and talking to a former coach while you're still on the team to ask that former coach for tips on how to tell your current coaches to do their jobs better.

If they sweep these last four, no way BB is canned. A Quixotic quest, however.

If they win out, or even win 3 of the last 4, and Bill is fired he has had his revenge in advance, by screwing the draft position.

that’s probably the worst case outcome for the team, so it’s what I expect will most likely happen.

This is a huge question that is flying under the radar, due to the Belichick Gallows Watch.

On one hand you want to lock up known talent; some continuity is vital in a team sport.

On the other hand when you are a three-win team, that screams for anything but keeping the status quo.
