He still has a law license which is more than you can say for the alcoholic disbarred thief working for ESPN. The only mistake he made was filing the suit against the NFL. Otherwise he seems like the perfect type of maleable investigator the NFL needs to replace Wells for the next witch hunt against the Pats.

Just curious but did you read CMass's post?

Patriots fans sue NFL for Draft Picks

He has had his license suspended at least twice for multiple complaints. (Granted this was 6 years ago)

Date:
October 6, 2009
Respondent: Seth T. Carey
Bar Number: 009970
Order: Suspension
Disposition/Conduct: Conduct Unworthy of an Attorney

"Mr. Carey became quite emotionally upset and angry such that he suddenly struck or grabbed Ms. Corbin’s German Shepherd puppy" (the complaint is more than this but quoted so that you understood the puppy reference)

Further and prior to the above suspension:

The Plaintiff offered evidence of a number of circumstances which it suggests constitute violations of specific bar rules. In some instances, the parties agree upon the facts. The testimony of the witnesses, however, included some significantly irreconcilable accounts of the events at issue. The Court addresses the events separately and finds as follows.

Michelle Gagnon v. Joshua Gagnon
The Judge Complaints (Judge McElwee)
The Judge Complaints (Judge Stanfill)
Statements at Grievance Commission Proceedings

"Upon this Court’s finding of the violations of the Maine Bar Rules as noted above, it is hereby ORDERED that Seth T. Carey be SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of six months and one day commencing March 30, 2009."

I don't know this guy at all but when he starts up a gofundme campaign () to raise money to file a complaint against the NFL for the sake of "Patriot fans" I want to know who is asking. Unfortunately it seems that this guy has questionable character and has received contributions from a few Pats fans (one who may be a Harvard graduate?) who may be held accountable for the NFL Defense team's legal fees if this case is tossed out as frivolous.
