I go to the Indystar site. Go there, knock yourself out. "Troll" away, it's not like one more Pats fan running around there talking crap is going to make a difference. But I have to warn you, we don't put disclaimers before jokes over there.

So if I go over and post, "Colts fans are absolutely the most arrogant fans I've ever met" I won't get banned shortly there after? And point out all their stupid little signatures and use them as examples of their ignorance...I'll get to stay just like you?

Violating Copywrite law? Now Pats fans, in a forum chock full of copied magazine articles, interviews etc, are defenders of copywrite law? Give me a break. How come I don't see any mention of copywrite law anywhere else on these boards? God.

And I'm not a spamming troll. The guy erased it the first time, in record time. I put it back, he told me I was going to be dealt with "harshly" so I posted it again because I figure I would be banned and it would be erased again.

So, knock yourselves out, censor away.

Fair use means posting a link and less than half of the article. It's really about ten percent, but most boards take a little liberty.

Posting entire articles is a no no and the site owner has specifically stated the policy.

I've mentioned it to Patriots posters too. The originating site has the right to that traffic.

Hello mods?? I started this thread for Patriots fans ONLY. So why put it in the visiting locker room?

Is that how much we are going to bend and kiss the donkey's behind on our visiting guests? Is this a way of chickening out on banning trolls rather give our own fans the respect of keeping a thread directed at Patriots fans on the main board.

I'm saddened by this apparent wimpy decision by our mods.

Can you please explain?

New owner? Did Sooth buy the board?

Well, go over there and try it. I sure as hell don't know or care. If it makes you feel better I wouldn't try to get you banned. Seriously, come on over. I have the same user name over there.

And I'm not saying all Pats fans, but yeah, those at the game last year, and I can say this without hyperbole or exaggeration were certainly the rudest, most obnoxious fans I've ever had to deal with, especially in the first half when the Colts were getting their asses kicked by the Pats. There was some serious trash being dished out.

It's not like I liked the Patriots before then but what is it about Pats fans that they make everything personal? I mean, there are still tons of Bears fans around Indy, and we talked crap to each other, but Pats fans take it to another level. Pats fans sure weren't like that 10 years ago, just like the article said.

AH...If you had every fan in the nation attacking you for no reason other than being unbelieveably good, you react the same way.

I truly believe our managment is bending the rules to the extreme because they are trying to help our image...if true, that is almost cowardly and I'm saddened.

why else would this thread that was directed at Patriots fans only, be moved to the visiting locker room and rosco the donkey's ash-hole still be here even after shmessy told him he'd be dealt with severely?

Like the title of this thread clearly states, who gives a flying **** about our image? Image doesn't exist except in ones mind.

Do I have "facts" to back up what I said about Pats fans? Well, you could ask any of the other Colts fans who were downtown last year who had to put up with Pat fan.

Like I said, I'm sure you're not all like that, but there are one whole hell of a lot of you that are. They came to Indy last year and really made themselves and Pats fans look bad.

Go ahead and ban me stating an opinion and saying why I feel that way and for posting an article, written by a 3rd and completely independent party, that agrees with what I said. It's a JOKE. I can't believe you're upset that I didn't put a frickin' disclaimer in front of it lol.

You're a BIG baby! Grow a set wimpy!

Well, if copywrite law is that big of a deal whoever is in charge here needs to do some major league housecleaning because there are articles copied out the wazoo around here. Not to mention every other forum on the internet.
What exactly is "wazoo"?

Donkey hole?

And sorry, I didn't see the "Patriots lovers only" sign. Kind of like Pats fans last year must have missed the sign that said "Indianapolis" when they came to my town.

Go over the Colts boards, there is certainly no shortage of Pats fans "trolling" over there and
HTML:
you don't hear me saying "ban them".

Are you screaming while you're typing?

Yeah, I know, wimp 4 life here.

The story has a happy ending though. The Pats fans slunk back home without saying a word after they lost the game. Watching them all quietly file down Georgia street was nice. Nothing shuts up a loudmouth fan like getting beat.

Then what's the problem? If you got the last laugh, then, why come in here like a troll now? You sound pretty insecure to me.

Hey, Wizwor you're right. Sometimes I do get carried away, I have to admit
.... the following:

http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm

"Quarterback Peyton Manning might be revered by Colts fans and superficially respected by sock puppets who are afraid that Manning might use his bully pulpit to give them the Tony Kornheiser treatment. But plenty of pro football fans think that Peyton is a money-grubbing, me-first, whiny, pissy, finger-pointing jerk with a huge head and the pecs of a grade-schooler. As the saying goes, familiarity breeds contempt -- and the endless stream of commercials and praise has given the fans of the other 31 franchises in the NFL good reason to believe that Peyton is Darth Vader in a white helmet.

There also are several reasons for those who wear that same white helmet to quietly resent Manning. He seemed to fault his blockers for failing to protect the slow-footed passer after a January 2006 playoff loss to the Steelers, Sal Paolantonio points out in his new book that Manning blamed Dallas Clark for an interception in Super Bowl XLI that was actually Manning's fault, and our report regarding the special treatment that Manning apparently received in connection with the team's Super Bowl ring ceremony (including an invitation for his father, Archie, to attend) was met with an irrational overreaction from the team, which prompted us (and others) to conclude that there was fire at the bottom of all of the smoke.

Then there's G.M. Bill Polian. He has a reputation in league circles of bullying others to get his way. Per past reports, he openly roots for the Colts in the press box, he criticizes officials without consequence, and he reportedly threw a pint-sized employee of the Jets against a wall last season.

And what about those claims that the Colts have done a little cheating of their own, by piping in fake noise to disrupt opposing offenses?

So the Colts are no choir boys, unless you're inclined to ignore a few warts on their naked butt and rectum."

Since deciding to entertain myself periodically on this message board while slow at work, I have noticed a trend. Your fans love to name call. Tell me my team stinks. Make a rational point as to why your is good. Make an intelligent argument. But when you just start calling me names, it makes YOU look ******ed. Don't get me wrong, I get a laugh out of it. My feeling aren't that fragile, and I'm not losing any sleep over it, but I'm not sure I get it either. It's like you have nothing better to do to prove your point.

I haven't seen any mistreatment of fans that just want to talk football here. You go to the other forums, and no matter what you get trashed. In one on the COlts I agreed (this was about 3 weeks ago) that the Colts D (at the time) looked more impressive than the Pats and that Sanders should be up for consideration for Defensive Player of the Year.
What I got back was "why the hell should we care what Pats fans think, you all think that we care about you're opinion and we don't, Youroot for Cheaters blah blah why are you here."
I responded that I just wanted to talk about my team with people who had a different point of view. I just happened to agree on thise one thing.
The response I get?
"you suck at talking smack" and this is what they went on about.
What the hell is that? If people just want to talk about football, GREAT! WELCOME! But, don't come in here and act like we are ****s because you're being a troll.
I know I said something that, in retrspect, I should've held for a a different forum, and I got banned for that. But I never talked about their team in their house to them with anything less than respect. I challenge any of the Trolls here too look up my posts over there that aren't relevant to the post or talking about the game in a way that is just fans talking football.
This crap some people come in here with is ridiculous. Fake articles, the Cheatriots crap, whining about running up the score. Why Tom Bradys gay, blah blah blah. You want to talk about football in a way that makes sense, bring it on, I enjoy that.
Just remember whose house your in.

Come on. A Brady's gay post is good every so often when backed up by solid evidence. That aside, I agree.
