Its so dissapointing seeing our young players injured all the time. Cunningham and Price will never make it if they can't get on the field
This will be the first game Cunningham has missed in his career

silver lining... haynesworth is playing

Kinda OT, but regretting starting Gronk in my fantasy league now seeing as he'll probably be beside Solder blocking Wake all night... hopefully he can grab a TD or 3 still tho.

Gee, who would I rather have on the roster? Levoir or Price?

?????

Our injury list is a very small one. You might look at last year if you want to see an injury list. Vollmer is out. This is a problem, but only because we are unprepared.

Pats have an amazing number of injuries considering they have yet to play their first game. It might be a long season with few healthy players.

I know. How can you continue to have hope for a guy when he misses 1 game

How can one have hope for a guy whose play leaves you wondering if he was ever even was activated for a game?

Vollmer being out is serious, Wake may eat Solder alive.

Look for O'Brian to help out Solder early on in this game. Wouldn't be surprised to see double teams on Solder's man, one of the Gronks. Or at least help slow Wake or whoever else before releasing.

Wake is the only guy on dolphins that scares me

Vollmer being out scares the crap out of me. We will have a guy who has never played a regular season game in his life starting at a position he's not used to playing going up against one of the best pass rushers in the league. Terrific.

Into the fire, as it were. Well, maybe give him some TE help? We'll see what happens.

hey, you do realize there are 2 gronks now at TE position, right

one gronk will block and the other will catch TD passes as usual

With the shortage on the offensive line do you guys think we will be seeing alot of runs for BJGE, Riddley and Woodhead tonight to try make it easier for Solder.

I don't know.

First, Wake primarily plays over the LT. Of course they could move him around.

Second, from what we have seen of Solder, he is long-limbed, agile, good in space, lacks power. He should be better against speed rushers than power rushers. He was very good when getting his long arms on rushers; but sometimes got bent back on a bullrush.

Third, if Brady can get Hernandez and G1 the ball a couple times early, that will frustrate the OLB rush. Playing out of the two-TE formation a lot, using them either as blockers or receivers, will help.

Yes, facing Wake and Misi is tough for a first game, but every team has good rushers. The #17 overall pick should be prepared to play in his first game. I would be more scared of a big 280-pound end than a 250-pound speed rusher.

The pre-season balance was exactly 50-50. I think that will happen again tonite unless the Pats get down a couple of scores and need to come back through the air.

Hey look, Matt Light is a pro-bowler and the kid Solder is a 1st-rounder. They might get beat once or twice, but this is a good offense that knows how to attack defenses.

You guys ought to watch for plays run right at Jason Taylor and Cameron Wake. The Pats will force Taylor to deal with at least one and maybe two Gronkowskis! Egad! They multiplied!

Cameron Wake will be looking around his ankles for Danny Woodhead and the rookies. That tends to slow the pass rush and lets the linemen pull. Just when he spots Woodhead, Wake will get a grill-ful of Logan Mankins.
