As am I; and Moss voted ahead of Kevin Faulk (the only remaining pre-Belichick Patriot) is disappointing too.

Yes, he was............. I still get such a kick out of that after all of the Moss is going be a cancer, Moss is all washed up...... Too funny that he is still going strong as a leader on this team.

I hope he finishes here and goes into the HOF as a Patriot.

The way I understand it is that the players vote, and final approval is given by BB... heard some radio procostinator saying that what may have happened here is that in after the top two the next tier could have 4-5 players tied, so rather than take another vote... just chose the top vote getters...

Wilfork is a captain despite wanting a new deal. Those disloyal bastard Patriots!

As always the players side with each other on the football field and don't really get into the contract negotiation in and outs of each other's contracts.

All the Pats players know full well that they could be the next Wilfork when it comes to contract extensions. That is simply NFL reality.

For the fans and media this point of view may be hard to understand, of course! But it is what it is.
