I don't know about the TV gig, McCourty is on quick slants every week. I understand that there is a big difference. There is probably a 0% chance he would be able to do inside the nfl while on the Patriots.

I would take a flyer on Marshal if the price was right. I am not sure how much he has in the tank. He was elite, now I am not so sure what he is. Its hard to tell when you played with a cesspool the season prior.

Think it's happening either but they should at least explore it. I think WR is in great shape as a unit, and while they will bring in competition I think the unit will end up being Edelman, Mitchell, Hogan, Amendola, and Floyd, and that's a really strong WR corps imo.

As far as Floyd goes I think they will offer 2 million for 2017 and possibly an option for 2018. He will get offered more but it will be up to him to decide what is really best for his future. Imo he would be wise to take the deal and work his ass off to set up his next deal, which could be big if he performs up to his ability.

I think it could work on a 1 year, get a ring - deal. But I don't think it'll happen. BM is a great talent, and as others have said, has grown up a lot. I just think there are better and younger options.

All that said nothing would shock me.

I just can't see Marshall in a Pats uniform given his age and the $$$. There are so many cheaper options out there that would be just as good or an upgrade over Marshall at this point. Kenny Britt and Thielen come to mind. But I think Floyd is just good as Marshall at this point. I'm kind of surprised more people aren't excited about what Floyd could bring.
