This can't be true. They suck at drafting, it's known. I mean, every expert that posts here tells us this in every thread.

I think this more or less tells us that the rest of the teams around the league don't exactly have it down to a perfect science, either.

No no no no no no no no no. No. I have read it here for I don't know how many years. The Pats, specifically Bill, suck at the draft. This tweet has to be revisionist history designed to make Bill look good. I mean, all these people that tell us how bad they are at drafting... they have to be right, right?

*sarcasm*

Ah yes duh.

Back down to 22.
I read it as 17 players, not the amount of times they are added to the All-pro list. So that means Chandler Jones is on it, as he was drafted by the Pats but made it as a Cardinal.

I'm generally more positive on Belichick's team building than most, but to play devil's advocate here, this would be more impressive if they'd drafted an all-pro in the last 10 years who wasn't a special teamer. Basically since Gronk, it's been kicker, punter, and two return men. I don't think all-pro is the end all be all, but this isn't quite the flex that it first appears to be.

If I'm missing someone from the recent decade, let me know.

Bill was good....

....before he.....

I think the tweet is pretty clear they mean how many players with at least one.

Jesus my bad. Not thinking clearly today. I should start drinking now and use it as an excuse....

So you named 13.

14 Chandler Jones
15 Braxton Berrios
16 Joe Thuney

Who's missing?

I don't think those players were All Pros w/ NE.

Thuney has not been an All-Pro...yet.

Interesting Tweet, it appears they're a little better than people give them credit for relative to other teams:

but ... but ... terrible gm ... blah blah blah

Who knew?

This must be important seeing as the how the Cowboys, 49ers, Chargers, Panthers, and Titans have been powerhouses since 2000.
