In case people from the pats actually do read this, lets give them some encouragement and show how much we appreciate our team.
Tom Brady is one of the best QBs in NFL history and today was just a perfect example. Even though he had a horrible game by his standards, he still had 2 TDs, 248 yards and went 20-36 against quite possibly the BEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL. Not exactly a rex grossman or matt leinart performance here. Even when Tom is at his worst, he is still better than a large percentage of QBs. And I have no doubts that he will correct the mistakes and play better next week.
Randy Moss is one of the best WRs in NFL history as well. Many people, including our own fans, have doubted him since we picked him up back in 2007 and he has proven the critics wrong over and over. If you have any doubts about his ability or whether or not he deserves a contract extension, take a look at what he did to Revis today. Without Moss we would have lost worse than we did.
Wes Welker is the toughest player in the NFL, without question. He came back early from his injury and played just as well as he did before he was injured, even though no one really thought he would. He scored two TDs in the first game and another one in this game. And that was right after taking a nasty hit by a Jets player.
Coach B is the best coach in football. With him as coach we have been successful every season and he understands that the best teams are willing to take chances as we have learned in the past. Sometimes you take chances and fail and sometimes you win.
The defense has the potential to be pretty good. I'm a little concerned about the play of darius butler but the other guys are going to be good. I'm really impressed with guys like McCourty, Warren and Chung.
Our young WRs and TEs such as Edelman, Gronk and Hernandez are going to be nfl superstars in the future.
