I love the 3 in a row on the road with 2 against bad teams. That leave 9 of 14 other games at home. 2-1 in those 3, which is very doable puts them in good shape.

This last 4. Ooof.

Barring serious injuries this team could go 10-7. That is enough for a playoff spot.

Game 3 @ Giants will be on Prime and not the Patriots network
Great,

Im excited about watching Dart and how he will execute, Hope they lose. Prior to the 2018 draft there was a discussion on another board about best 2018 QB to draft. I staunchly defended Josh Allen as the # 1 selection (if he was developed correctly.) A lot of pundits claimed that Allen played in a Pro style offense at Wyoming. What a joke. One season Allen rushed for 8 carries per game. It might be the norm today, but not 7 years ago.

Anxious to see Dart. I never bought in to Dan Jones. Knew he was a bust years ago. NY Giants fans here told me he is the guy.

The NFL has changed IMO. Passing QBs that can run are the guys today. If youre are a pocket QB today the future is trending South. Burrow is kinda that guy. Maye is not. We see an influx of QBs Daniels, Strange, Nix and Maye. And, they win.

Maye will win too.

We expect Brady, but time has passed and never will there be an era like that again.

There are….other options

Also, I can’t wait for the return of Vrabel down here, can’t wait.
Do you believe that there will be a warm welcome or do the locals blame Vrabel for the fall?

Oh no, the locals loved Vrabel. He will get a warm welcome here, they aren’t happy ownership fired him.
That's what I figured.

Southern football fans are loyal. UT has gone through droughts and the fanbase is still there.

They are, until they aren’t. Losers don’t tend to get patience and love down here. Vrabel was a different beast. He talked the talk and walked the walk. The problem down here was a ****ty GM and ownership. I think Vrabs learned some good lessons that he will be able to apply in NE. Everyone down here knows the ownership is hot garbage and the current coach is probably already dead man walking.

I heard rumblings about that. Vrabel and the GM did not gel.

The same as BB did. Modell sabotaged Belichicks tenure in Cleveland.

BB had 2 first round picks next draft and the Ravens picked Ray Lewis. I am convinced that BB would have taken Lewis if the Browns didnt move.

It takes ownership allowing football people to do their jobs,

kind of a bummer to only have one late afternoon window game. I miss having a ton of those and enjoying the noon window games.

Interesting preseason note

if you don't have Amazon Prime, you can watch the Prime Games on Twitch... or at least you could last year...

It doesn't help that (1) by NFL rules, west coast home games must be in the 4:25 slot and (2) the Pats only have one away game outside the Eastern time zone.

If they go on a hot streak, though, I could see them getting flexed into that later slot. That said, I suspect you are in the minority in preferring the later slot.
