The change in perspective is a good point, one that reflects on an issue I've had with BB for a long time - that is, his tendency to favor an inbred coaching staff.I have my doubts whether someone in their 70's could (or would want to) start over and do a complete franchise rebuild. But I do think there's merit to a change of scenery energizing someone, or giving them a perspective they maybe didn't realize they were missing. He's been here for over 20 years, and as hard as one may try, there are probably things he takes for granted about the operation that could use adjusting. A new team might bring those to light.
Also, if he goes to Chicago, and has, say, the 2nd and 3rd overall pick and takes Drake May and Marvin Harrison Jr, that could spark a turnaround a LOT faster.

Andy Reid is a good example. He was clearly burnt out with the Eagles and they were declining. Although they were never a threat in the AFC, he went to the Chiefs with a fresh start and turned them around. But landing Mahomes has breathed new life into Reid.If he can turn WA and CHI around why can't he turn the Pats around? What's different there than here?
I think it's a big gamble to bank on a 70+ year old guy to turn around a franchise, even if he's a living legend.I have my doubts whether someone in their 70's could (or would want to) start over and do a complete franchise rebuild. That change of scenery works both ways. Think of the locker room that obviously just came off a bad enough few years that their coach was fired and then in walks Bill.
