According to police, the assault happened on Aug. 28 at the Planet Fitness facility in North Providence.

I'm surprised. I met Pass at a golf tourney a few years ago and he came across as a pretty mild mannered guy. He was also built like a brick ****house and not someone I'd argue with at any age.

Pass says he didn't do anything. The other guy sounds confused with what happened.

I feel like this should have been resolved with security footage in 5 minutes.

Edit: Now that I've seen the video of Pass refusing to offer his version of events, it just reeks of lawyer advice when you have something to hide. What little he said is very ambiguous and doesn't come close to denying physical contact that knocked the old man down.

Title should probably contain "allegedly". Agree with @Brotherblues that this likely is sorted out in pretty short order with security footage. Since it happened in a Planet Fitness I am sure they have it. Hearing isn't til December.

Not sure why they interviewed a local neighbor, who wasn't present for the incident, and basically said "wow he's always such a nice guy, I am so shocked right now!" Wow very insightful Karen.

The man was 82.
You don't knock down octogenarians.
If you do, you apologize and help them up and make sure they're OK.

The victim did not press charges. The police watched the video.
Either the reported video is wrong or Pass is not telling the truth.

This can't be his first time in a gym.
Someone is wiping down equipment, you don't jump in on them.
