Patrick seems to be deviating a little bit from the fold, been showing up in a friend of my daughter's MYPLACE site, looks like he has been spending a lot of time partying and not much time taking care of the legs...

...

what a moron

Well if that's the case, I don't want him here. It wouldn't surprise me if BB pays him and tells him to go home. We don't need a malcontent like that on this team.

My turn to pile on, please.

Eff you, Patbrick. Your presence here is no longer welcome.

Go join one of your comrades who got paid, but who will not be collecting a game check in Feburary.

I actually appreciated what Pass brought to the team. He was a versatile FB who could play a RB style and served as the second-best pass catching option out of the backfield behind Faulk. When healthy he's a useful player in the Patriots offense.

But he is not irreplaceable. Especially not with the addition of Mills, who was the top FB in this year's draft class, along with another FB/RB hybrid in Evans. Showing defiance to Belichick is a sure-fire way of getting your ass kicked to the curb, and I hope that will be his fate because he deserves it.

If he does end up going to the Jets as a result of this, that will go to show just how much of a jerkoff Mangini really is. It would really be telling.

He'll like it in Cleveland

Pretty ballsy for a guy the coaching staff has never liked. No wait, I'm confusing ballsy with stupid again....

Outside of football .... Patrick Pass is an obnoxious drunk. You heard it
here first and no...it's no rumor... I have no clue what his value to the team is.

We're doomed, doomed I say, if we don't keep Patrick Pass. We should pay him whatever it takes to get an extension done. Hell, give him Edgerrin James money.

He's no Reggie Wayne, that's for certain.

Maybe he wants out.

That would almost explain the head-scratching retention of Evans and Mills.

I say cut the bastard now and just give him his injury settlement. Be done with it.

Evans and Mills have different skill sets, though I can see Mills picking up what Evans does easier than the other way around.

Clearly Patrick is trying to make a statement now because he is extremely confident about his job security in the coming months. But I'm not saying he know for sure that he'll be playing for the pats this season. I'm saying he knows that he isn't the incumbent FB anymore with Mills around and now he is acting like a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum. After all, I'm sure in his mind he has nothing to lose because they will release him anyway because Mills is the better player. This is why he chooses to continue to act up about Branch's situation. He feels he has nothing to lose.

Would Pass be a top 3 back for the Jets right now with their RB situation?

If Belichick thinks this is the case then it looks like Belichick puts up with him by keeping him on the shelf.

He IS on PUP now which means that the Pats have several more weeks before they must decide to either cut his sorry ass or put him on the 53. If he is still not well at that time, they can IR him or cut him with an injury $ettlement.

Pass will not play for the NEP again (caveat, no RBs or Hill gets injured soon)

Hill? Marquise?

I suppose no one asked Patrick why he was wearing the skullcap? Of course if he was as close to Deion as the post trade remarks might suggest, is there any chance Deion gave him the skull cap? Does Deion wear a #35 skull cap around the Seattle locker room? Then why get in the way of a good hissy fit...

He should be wearing a #83 THIGHWRAP instead.

If it keeps his feet warm sure, but the old saw for cold feet was to wear a hat. (For those with short memories, Patrick had foot surgery in the off-season).
