the more $$$ he makes the more I see that deer in the headlights look from him. I guess he's worth it when compared to other relievers in baseball. Just seems kind of nuts to pay a guy huge money who may already be on the back nine for all we know.

1 year deal. Paying him the money this season doesn't worry me. Blowing saves this season will.

Yeah ... he's earned his money here but somehow I think his days here are numbered. I hope he has a better year of course ... why not I am a Sox fan. It seems like he struggled for velocity last year. Hopefully it was an injury or training issue and he has a better year this year.

Paps is an enigma. I can't tell if he's pushing for these one-year deals because he wants to hurry to free agency or if he really does prefer to have that pressure on him all the time.
