And prior to that overtime drive, the Cardinals didn't either. They gave up a hail mary touchdown, 4th and 20 pass completion and threw the ball when all they needed to do was run the clock out.

Sounds like something the Jets would do.

I remember in 2009 we put Randy Moss at safety against the Broncos before half time and he intercepted the Hail Mary.

Detroit is pathetic and giving up that Hail Mary was a disgrace.

But I think it's common sense to rush three...maybe four and have everyone else playing back. That's typically the Pats strategy. Hell they often put Gronk or Moss back there too for good measure.

Got home from Foxboro in time to watch the second half. This was a very entertaining game to be sure.

But the thing that the knuckle heads in the press don't seem to understand is that there was a lot of very bad football here. Poor play by both QBs, terrible tackling, horribly incompetent officiating, and just atrocious situational football.

Doesn't have to be well played to be exciting. I guess.

I can't remember the last time I've been so drawn in to and excited about a non-Pats game. When Rodgers threw the Hail Mary for the TD I jumped up, screaming and knocked over a drink in awe.

Then Fitzgerald has his long catch and run and I jump up shouting again as he breaks tackles toward the endzone.

Just have to say it again....awesome.

I went to the grocery store and was listening on the radio. Sat in the parking lit for like 10 minutes and decided at that last 4th down that the game was over and just went in (I think Arizona had called T.O.) Came out to discover they scored and went to OT - pretty crazy stuff. Would have liked GB to win, but whatevs, we have more important things to worry about next week.

Yes but so exciting to watch. I liked the outcome I never want to play GB.

I heard it was Adrian Wilson, which is perfect IMO.

Even before he came here for a non eventful stint, Wilson was my favorite player on those Cardinals teams.
