None of the above. O’Connell would join McD. O’Shea left because he felt there was no op in NE to advance and was canned after one year on a rebuild. Moore might be retained by DAL.

*also, you’ve been around here long enough to know that w/o RLKAG it isn’t a real survey....

Whoever it is, can Belichick explain to him you're allowed to sub in another offensive tackle and designate him as a tight end on the six-inch line line, rather than having Gumby LaCosse blow your season by predictably getting destroyed?

Or that you're allowed to stay in the pony formation with White and Burkhead each on one side when you get close to the goal line, after that formation has worked the entire game/season? Or just stick with that four WR spread with none that can get open?

I don’t think Josh is leaving as he is so indecisive. I’m also surprised teams still want to talk to him because of this.

In all seriousness - BB is adamant re: “not naming the coordinator the first year”. He could actually end up promoting Steve to DC and taking “responsibility” of the offense himself despite having someone else on the headset.

If Brady stays then in house ...

If he leaves maybe a surprise from the college ranks.

Some reporter had mentioned that the plan was Judge, but that was before O’Shea became available and Judge became a Mississippi State candidate.

(I feel like this is a good time to point out that a lot goes on behind the scenes and that the on-field performance of his position group will not the only determining factor.)

Hopefully whoever gets hired quits immediately like Schiano. That was the single most important thing for the defensive improvement between 2018 and 2019. This team probably goes 8-8 with one of Schiano's flaccid defenses.
BB is the GOAT coordinator on defense, might also be the case for offense.

Well, if he’s hired as offensive coordinator he would have advanced so that’s not too much of an issue. And Miami is a different system and different circumstances, don’t think him him being let go there has much relevance. He’d be the choice I think.

I think you might be right. I think a big issue this year was BB being mostly involved on the defensive side of the ball. The coaching staff was thin with Joe Judge doing the special teams and receivers! What we saw from the offense is what you would see if Josh was 100% responsible for that side of the ball.

Say what you want about the defense in the Titans game but they did what they were supposed to do, held the opposing team to 14 points.

I bet nobody gets the title, like DC the last two years.

I think it's 60% likely McDaniels stays. Browns/Panthers/Giants are ok opportunities, but not significantly appealing.

Dunno....McD is interviewing with the Browns...other than the Browns...there are the Giants and Panthers.....

That's ONLY 3 HC openings...one with a dysfunctional front office...

McD might even stay pat!

That whole process bugs me to this day. Timeouts and that’s what you came up with? High School coaches can come up with better stuff than that. Almost like they weren’t trying to score. As in, if we run it in fine...but we really aren’t trying to score here. The line was getting blown up like it wasn’t other obvious running downs.
