Do you guys remember the intentional grounding Brady got in 2012 right before halftime in Seattle? Because he threw the ball through the back of the endzone since nobody was open to get the field goal? Then we ended up getting 0 points cause the clock ran-off due to a penalty. Has any QB been called for the same damn play since then? I just watched Bridgewater throw the ball 20 yards over the endzone out the back when he was about to take a sack. No WRs near. No flag. Kinda funny

Even the announcers were confused when that was called. The only thing I can figure is that they don't bother calling it unless the 10 second run off is in play in a meaningful way. Still doesn't make it okay, but that's my only guess other than yet another case of "hey, let's call this penalty that has literally never been called before or since, seems like a good time to stick it to the Pats".

FWIW I didn't bring it up in an NFL vs Pats kinda way, just that I remember being furious at that penalty and now whenever I see another QB do the same thing it just reminds me of that fury LOL

If Brooks did that on the Pats he'd sit for the rest of the half. They will never, ever be a serious contender with Rex as HC.

Complete phantom roughing the passer called on Michael Vick. But I thought according to the jealous cu*** around the league that Brady and Manning are the only ones that get these calls. To be honest, I can't even remmber the last RTP call on Brady, let alone one for knocking him to the ground legally like the one just called on Vick.

Eh, I think rooting for the Bills over the Bengals is justifiable. Pats are competing with Cincy and Denver for byes/HFA. We know the Bills aren't going to challenge us. EJ Manuel is becoming prominently involved in their season.

Denver is awful. I still don't believe in the Bengals.
