It'd probably be illegal for them to do in real time with the actual broadcast, but I bet they could record something while they watch the game, and then make it available after the game is over -- "Fire up your recording, mute the sound, open our podcast in your media player, and hit PLAY at the moment the kicker's foot hits the ball on the opening kickoff"
Actually this is exactly where Ryan belongs. Its been proven that his place certainly wasn't on the sidelines being a HC. I expect he will be entertaining and sometimes even inciteful at BSPN. I look forward to seeing what he has to offer when someone posts a clip of him in action. I certainly won't be watching him on TV.

Also partly the reason why NFL Playbook was cancelled on NFLN. People have zero attention spans these days, so shows like this one that delve deep into the intracacies of plays and how they develop don't sit well with the HAWT TAKEZZZZZ shows du jour. That's why there are more panel shows than single host shows as well. Shame.
I love Rex Ryan ... I think he will do great.
He has a great football mind ... he just has trouble translating that to the roster of players on the teams he coaches.
To be honest, I don't mind this. Rex has a keen defensive mind he just can't coach offense for ****. I'd almost be tempted to listen to him speak... but then I'm reminded, it's that prick of an organization.
You have to wonder if he's done coaching for good. Probably is, since he likely would consider it beneath him to take a coordinator's job and nobody will want him as a head coach. I wonder what his brother will do. BSPN should've hired them both -- I'd even be tempted to tune in.
Also he's made enough cash from NYJ and BUF to now take the easy way out. He's still got $16.5M coming to him from Buffalo at 5.5M/year for the next three years, on top of what he gets from BSPN.
Besides from what we hear from ex-BUF players, he failed to get his players to understand his 'multiple' D. I'm not sure if that's because the players are too dumb or unmotiviated or if Rex isn't able to explain what he wants well enough, but the bottom line is he just isn't effective as a coach any more.

I've always had my doubts about the "keen defensive mind" thing. He's kind of a one-trick-pony, and it's a trick good teams usually figure out:
1) Will they blitz or won't they?
2) If they don't, they're mediocre, vanilla.
3) If they do, they're vulnerable if you think quick.
It can be difficult to deal with, but I don't at all believe that is takes a genius to come up with it, particularly when history shows that on days when it ISN'T working, or when he doesn't have just the right personnel to make it go, Rex has NO IDEA what else to do.
