Sixers will F it up. What a disaster of a franchise.
Hate that franchise. I hope they suck for eternityI'm just glad it wasn't the Lakers at #1. Eff the Lakers.
It's been a beautiful thing how horrible they've been the last few seasons. Just hoping dearly that the 76ers don't screw up and let Simmons fall to them.Hate that franchise. I hope they suck for eternity

Wow, that brings back memories. I was obsessed by that game when I was in junior high. When I was a kid, right about now I'd be getting Strat O Matic Football for last year. That would kill some time. LOL... I think Mrs. Rover might look at me funny if the UPS man brought that now.
So what's everyone want at 3?
Dragan?
Buddy?
We ain't winning anything in the next 3 years anyways. Not big on Dragan . He needs 3 years to be NBA ready.
No. The they need to trade the pick for a 20/10 guy and/or a rim protector. Maybe trade or sign one.We ain't winning anything in the next 3 years anyways.
FWIW I bet BB would be on board with the Croation.
Don't get me wrong I'm on board for anything. I just think even if it's the trade route expecting year one results like 2008 might be a little optimistic. If you accept that a trade still might take a few years until we can win it all then devolping another draft pick doesn't seem so bad.No. The they need to trade the pick for a 20/10 guy and/or a rim protector. Danny does that they are challenging CLE in the EC

Either way just have to get it right blow these assets and it will set us back big time.
I agree but that's my point this isn't an overnight fix so I am OK with drafting a developmental Center. Not necessarily my preference but you can't teach 7'1" either. In my view 08 was a little bit of a different situation than now. Even though they only won 20 something games in 07, they were in a better position going into the draft and FA. They had more cap space and already had an all-star scorer in Truth, a PG in Rondo and a basket protector in Perk. Plus they had a ton of players with expiring deals or el-cheapo buyouts. From 07 to 08 they carried over only 6 players. Thats unheard of.
IMO they still don't have a PG, they don't have an elite scorer and they don't have a basket protector. They need more athleticism and talent. I'd only keep maybe 5 or 6 players from the current roster.

I agree. They will not be a championship team in 2017. Maybe if they land Horford and KD but that ain't happening...
Danny could get close if he signs a 20ppg guy in his 20s and move the pick to next year.
Bender is intriguing but to drop the 3rd pick on him when he won't be ready until 2019 bothers me.
My Strat years were 82-88. We had 100 game seasons. Played 4-5 games a day. Played it right through Senior year in HS. Still had had time for girls and booze.....and homework
I played around the same time. Had the football AND hockey. Probably played from 1980-1984.
