OT: WEEI is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic again

Gresch used to be on a local sports radio show in RI before he hit the big time.. he was unlistenable then, so I suspect he carried that tradition with him to EEI....
OTOH I find most sportstalk radio unlistenable as all they try to do is gin up nontroversy..

back when it was fauria, merloni and meggo, i seriously thought meggo was faurias side piece... they were really into each other it seemed

Everyone at WEEI is weak and they need new people. Gresh was OK at first but he is a 98.5 retread and is now back to his old self rambling with incoherent speculation. Fauria is only better than Merloni who was awful. There is a lot of improvement possible.

gresh goes way back in the local RI market and was slinging words way before the hub... worked with guys like scott cordishi and john rooke (the pats stadium announcer) on wpro... he was partnered with scott zolak at the time iirc

For me, there is absolutely no need to listen to them again. Screw you WEEI; you messed up again after destroying the best radio sports show ever, the Big Show. I agree, Gresh and Fauria was the only prime time show that is worth listening to. They were fun and provided real analysis and weren't butt hurt by people who didn't agree with them.

Looks like it is that time of the year that WEEI reshuffles their on air roster to get crushed by 98.5. Adam Jones and Rich Keefe will be doing the midday show. Andy Hart gets a fulltime spot and Christian Arcand is promoted to head the afternoon show. Meggo is demoted to fill in host. Gresh and Fauria look to be out.

Funny, I think Meggo is better than Jones or Arcand who are unlistenable. Either way, it is just moving around crap to make different crap. I will never get why they continue to counter program Felger and Mazz with watered down versions of Felger and Mazz.

I guess the morning show is going to stay the same.

Ardand and Hart (2-6)

Gresh and fauria fired.

Keefe must have him self a amazing contract because they have put this loser at every spot in the lineup, he doesn't work, no one likes him, let him go.

Fauria time was a long time ago. Good riddance. I didn't hate Gresh this time around like I did his last run in New England radio but he's still not my cup of tea. That said, their show is the best of either midday or afternoon and or night show.

Meg annoyed me beyond belief. I'm glad she's almost out.

I can't stand that loser Jones. He's now lost two jobs in two years. Maybe it's time you change up your style.

Archand I actually don't mind. He's a more reasonable and less annoying version of the same schick Jones does.


WHY THE **** are we giving Hart a full time slot? He won't make it more than a year.

The morning show is one giant *********** maga roll call. In the 20 mins I might hear them on any given morning they're too busy talking about conspiracy theories on woman who clearly killed their husband instead of anything about sports.

In short, fire them all and fold. It's time.

I used to love EEI. They got overconfident. It bit them. And they never recovered.

Sports chat would be so much better than the yelling over one another that brought upon the downfall.
