Well, I guess he won't be asking Bill Belichick to present him for the Award.

Imagine. I think I might be up for the award in 2016... Why not ? Tom Jackson...

He is a dope who was carried by Chris Berman for years.

He should be awarded a frontal lobotomy. Then he can become a VP at ESPN.

Hey Jackson, How was that Belichick interview after SB 38? Oh yeah it was short, Bill's answer was ...F*ck Yo*

At least the #1 comment on the article is a tear down referencing "they hate their coach." Many commenters mention it, actually.

Hard to conceptualize that Jackson was the best choice.. sure he will be humble about it Either that or the broadcast industry is just that crappy..

"for longtime exceptional contributions to radio and television in professional football"

It is a prestigious group, tainted by this azzclown.. and Criqui and Dan Dierdoff.. the most glaring omission is Howard Cossell, who helped revolutionize the broadcasting aspect of the NFL..

2014 – Bob Trumpy
2013 – Al Michaels
2012 – Len Dawson

2010 – Chris Berman

2006 – Lesley Visser
2005 – Myron Cope
2004 – Van Miller
2003 – Don Criqui
2002 – John Madden
2001 –Roone Arledge
2000 – Ray Scott
1999 – **** Enberg
1998 – Val Pinchbeck
1997 – Charlie Jones
1996 – Jack Buck
1995 – Frank Gifford
1994 – Pat Summerall
1993 – Curt Gowdy
1992 – Chris Schenkel
1991 – Ed Sabol
1990 – Lindsey Nelson
1989 – Bill McPhail

I hated Bob Trumpy. He always crapped on the Pats. Criqui was terrible - even when he was good.

Criqui and Cross on the preseason broadcasts hurt my ears..

...or the NFL VP for Gameday Ops.

Or the NFL VP for special operations aka keep his eye on the Pats to see if they are "happy" or cheating. . can you imagine what a bore he will be after this????
