I’m genuinely curious if someone knows the reason he’s yelling ? Just wanted to sit down with a coffee and maybe watch a bit of a bball game.

While other talking heads get fired, he not only remains, but makes more and more $$$.

I know tastes vary from person to person. I’m baffled that people like liver and others don’t like cacio e pepe… so our differences are easy to see. But I guess I’m saying I can better understand my father eating liver and onions, than humans enjoying listening to Stephen A yelling…

Sorry for the interruption, feel free to return to « every OL in the league is being signed ».

Yelling with LaBone?
Was funny the other day when Stephan A basically said Bronny sucks and they argued later.

He does have a vast knowledge of basketball. He used to leverage it more. You can still see him sometimes break character and reach into that knowledge. However, he now understands he makes the most money by doing the theater and entertainment side of commentary.

Honestly, it's not even like the NBA is real basketball anymore lol, and it's all swirling the same drain.

That isn’t actually what point he was making. I don’t care for Stephen A personally as I generally dislike hot take stuff BUT his point was that Lebron himself kind of put Bronny in a tough spot with saying “if you want me draft Bronny”.

Expectations for the kid would always be unfair.

Lebron took it as a dig at Bronny when it was really a dig at him.

That said…I’m hair trigger sensitive about my kids too so I can’t really fault him.

To me it doesn't matter who it was a dig at.
One becomes a professional athlete then you also sign up for public scrutiny.
LeBron took exception .... totally unprofessional ... but then again he is a sports drama queen.

...and the kid sucks ... G-League at best.

Has he ever not been yelling and/or angry?

That's his schtik. And that's why I haven't watched or listened to him for close to twenty years.

He yells, he's a fkn mental case.

I don’t get it but the yelling is working for him, he just resigned with ESPN for 100 million dollars.

We can sympathize and understand LeBron's behavior but there is criticism here.

LeBron isn't doing his son any favors by fighting his battles.

It's his schtick. I personally don't like it (except for when the Cowboys lose), but obviously enough others like it to the point it's working for him.

He's not, but like you said, we can understand it.

What's not understandable, is Stephen A. backing down when Lebron's standing right in front of him, only to go on TV the next day and whine about it. Such a ****y move.

I haven't watched ESPN in quite some time. I liked him when he first started, but got turned off when the show became about him. Molly Qerim is also unbearable as a moderator.

I don’t watch espn but sometimes catch him on tik tok or radio. His latest transformation moving away from divisive politics has been slightly refreshing. Keep it out of sports.

Agree completely.

Imagine if SAS had the foresight (and balls) to stand up to LeBron publicly? It would have been epic.

"LeBron, sorry but your son is not an NBA player. Like everyone else, he is subject to criticism. But because you put him in this position, he is more subject to it. Defending him publicly and attempting to bully me in the process speaks more about your insecurity. Not mine."

Honestly? Same for most Boston media. Negative sells.

Why Nick Cattles is my primary Pats consumption

LeBron need to STFU. His son isn’t some kid playing high school sports. He is an adult and a professional, which makes him fair game.

Used to think Steven A was annoying, now I love his act. Probly it’s the old grumpy man I’ve become !! Haha
