Moss, TO, Crabtree, Jackson, Brandon Marshall, Dez Bryant, etc etc...

Why receivers? Why are star running backs or QBs *typically* a lot more mature?

The farther you line up from the ball. The less it becomes football. More like basketball from their perspective. Just get me the ball. Don't get hit every play. After 5yds, no contact until you catch the ball.

Re: OT: So why are receivers prima donnas?

Some of it is just perception.

A QB - Brady/Manning/Brees says, "on a critical 3rd or 4th down I want the ball in my hands for a pass." We call it leadership.

A RB - Brown/Bush/LT says, "on a critical 3rd or 4th down I want the ball in my hands." Or if he said, "if it was up to me we run the ball every play, we would just run the ball down their throats." We call it leadership.

A WR - TO/Moss/Marshall says, "on a critical 3rd or 4th down I want the ball thrown my way, in fact I want it thrown my way every down." We call it being a diva and not a team player.
