OT: Silence is golden when watching football

The Name is Suzyn Waldman

That's saying alot considering the crappy quality of most of the announcers out there but I agree. Living in RI we pick up the Yankees feed on a local station and sometimes I hit the memory on the radio (it's on the local Providence sports station) and hear, I think her name is Susan something Oldman, and it kills my ears.

I'm a patriots fan, trapped in met-net-jet-knick-yank land, and i gotta disagree about her.
BTW she's from baahston.
IMHO she's got a lot more knowledge of the players/history of baseball basketball hockey football than 80 percent of the TV/Cable chumps on the east coast.
players and managers talk to her a little differently because she's a woman.
i do not like ker voice. something about it makes me scrunch up my face. i get a headache after about an hour, so when she covers an event longer than that i get sick of her.
baahston radio outlets been trying to get her to come home for years. she wants too much money, 'bout a million a year. gives a perspedtive on what the boston media blowhards make.

BTW I have to CLOSE my eyes every time john madden's face appears on TV. Not only is he ugly, he's old and ugly. got those blotches and stuff.

Woman, men, TV commentators discussing their ironing, wedgies, cooking, or favorite cheap news story player instead of the game they are allegedly covering, cats complaining that the TV is too loud, dogs demanding to go outside and sniff the dog next door, earthworms digging...it's all so annoying while my Patriots are demonstrating dominance through victory.
