OT: Russell Wilson & Seahawks relationship deteriorating

Every owner is scared ****less that Wilson or Watson or Rodgers are able to shoot their way out of town. The second one team gives up a top QB in the league because they shoot their way out of town, it could create a domino affect that has every top player in the league who is unhappy where they are trying to shoot their way out of town. Hell, if Russell Wilson can do it, why can't I?

Looking at that posting is interesting. If coaches are being quoted in a negative light, the Seahawks may be the instigator.

If they have determined (with merit) they're window has closed, it's time for the next chapter. Green Bay may also move that way and they already have the future on their roster.

They won a Super Bowl with 2nd year upstart RW not $40M cap RW

Why does everyone want to go to the Jets?

Now that the authoritative voice on NFL news has spoken, I guess people can stop freaking out about him going to an AFCE competitor.

This is such a weird list of teams.

Bingo. Look at who Wilson’s wife is. Hmm where would she want to live, New York or Seattle?

Look at the other destinations. Miami Las Vegas and I’m sure if they didn’t have Herbert LA would’ve been on his list as well.
Facts. that's not about winning, that's about off-field opportunity.

Yeah, only real pattern I see is that it’s the offensive head coaches that could be looking for new QBs, minus Rhule in Carolina. Maybe overreacting to Pete Carroll being a college and defense guy?

Wilson to Dolphins
Watson to Jets
Bills have Allen
Pats have...Jarrett Stidham.

Next patriots pep rally you have stidham and Nkeal Harry leading a ‘we’re still here ‘ chant

Well... we’re out. At least he doesn’t want to come to the division either. And I highly doubt he’s getting traded.

I don't want this to come across the wrong way because I think Wilson is an amazing QB and for sure elite but he is not at the level of Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady. He has always been just a tick below. I think most of it is due to his height. He just can't see well enough from the pocket and while he is great at making something happen from broken plays ala Mahomes, he just isn't consistent enough from the pocket.

That all being said, what in the world is Seattle doing? They threw that ball in SB 49 because they saw Wilson as the future of that team and not the LOB defense/Lynch. It seems they keep waffling on the guy. They paid him like he was the best QB prior to Mahomes' monster deal and now they don't want to tailor things for him? Head scratching. They really should have fired Petey after SB 49.
Maybe my man Russ joins Marshawn Lynch next year on Westworld!

It seems like they're always on the initial list, but then get eliminated as time goes on. I assume QBs are drawn in by NYC but then take a look at their roster...

Going to be a funny season with Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson & Aaron Rodgers sitting out the entire season.

AR is being grumpy too?

Interesting. Cowboys, Bears, Saints, Raiders....

Dallas does have a good OL, RB and WRs. But their D is below average. But they don't come off as truly dynamic in the playoffs. They had a TE put up 600 yards last year but he doesn't feel like 'that guy'. Elliot can catch, but they lack that RB who can really catch. They seem to be the kind of offense that is really built well to play straight up, but outside of their runs between the tackles and 3 WR sets I don't love a lot else they do. And they can't stop anyone. It feels like this is the team you go on to score points and pour it on against bad teams only to hit a wall with in the playoffs when you face good CB play and have no answer. Not to mention their D average at best. It's a dome stadium too. The team seems perfect for a place to put up numbers, but not a place where winning will be easier.

Bears? This one makes no sense. They are about to lose their #1 and only truly talented offensive skill player in Robinson. Their OL isn't particularly good. They invested a ton of money on D. But I don't understand why Wilson would want to go here where they have managed the cap so poorly and have no room for him anyway.

Saints? They are in cap hell. If they could somehow keep everyone and add him then sure, but they can't.

Raiders? They have Carr, who isn't bad. And he's well priced for what he brings which is nice. Their OL when healthy will be good. But I don't see them giving up on Carr at his price tag when they have other needs to address.

Frankly out of these 3 listed teams the only team in a truly good situation for a QB is Dallas, but that is for stats and not to win necessarily. I don't know why he would pick the other three.

As I said in another post, the Bucs won mainly because of defense in the playoffs. None of the other teams Brady was considering had that kind of defense (Bears and Chargers). The Saints have a good D and I could see Brady winning the super bowl with them, but certainly not the other two.

lol

Someone should tell these cry baby millionaires that the nfl is not MLB. The media is dumb as well for putting this out like the nfl doesn’t have a damn salary cap. Do they even know how it works? Saints can’t afford him. One thing about the cowboys they have a ton of players making money already. They won’t be able to do things to improve that defense. Their OL is aging as well. Raiders as well their defense sucks. They would give up a lot of draft capital as well.

The bears this dudes a comedian Anyways what’s the trad situation with Dak. That can actually be somewhat of a win win for both team if they swapped QB’s and Dallas sends a 2nd bacm

The Bucs scored 30+ points in each game they played. They could have hung 40 on KC had they not taken their foot off the gas.

That's easy to settle.

Have Brady move over to Jacksonville. Let's see what happens.

In 2019 Tampa went 7-9 with a dude throwing 30+ picks and something like 8 pick 6's. That's very easy math.
So obviously you made millions seeing through those odds and picking the the Bucs with all their talent without Winston this year. How about next year? Dont tell us now. Wait until the Superbowl winner is crowned next year and then show us how your math skills predicted it.
