Need to start two (as I write this I'm not sure the poll allows multiple selections and I hate to list ever pair).

Here are the choices along with ESPNs commentary in order of projected points (descending):

Ahman Green vs. Arizona:
Think the bye week did Green any good? With his hamstring sufficiently healed, Green busted a 70-yard TD run against a good Miami front seven last week, helping the Packers' improving offensive line author consecutive 100-yard performances for three different Green Bay backs. (RB Vernand Morency actually had 99 in Week 4, but who's counting?) Arizona's defense has been solid in many ways, but stopping the run isn't one of them. The Cardinals' front line is small and the linebackers are slow and easily blocked. Green and his blockers can wear down that bunch, and the only obvious hang-up would be a blowout that could persuade the Packers' coaches to relieve the notoriously brittle Green early. We'll take our chances starting him.
Yds: 0/88/25, TDs: 1
Projected 16 points

Deuce McAllister vs. Baltimore:
The Saints have built their early-season success around McAllister, who is in for a physical game. Baltimore brings in one of the league's top run defense and will not give McAllister much room. Expect the Saints to counter by spreading the field and making the Ravens defend the entire width of the field. That is how McAllister has punished some earlier opponents, although the Ravens will not have as many cracks in their strong front seven. McAllister will have difficulty attacking the middle of the defense and might have to bounce more runs to the outside this week. But as well as he is playing, keep him in your lineup even in a difficult matchup.
Yds: 0/68/13, TDs: 1
Projected 13 points

Dillon at Minnesota:
Dillon, as part of a tag-team backfield, will be in for a long night. The Patriots have the difficult task of trying to establish their run game against the league's best run defense. Dillon and Laurence Maroney are splitting carries almost 50-50 and Dillon had two hard-running TDs last week against Buffalo. The Patriots should need more of Dillon's hard running style against the middle of Minnesota's big defensive line, including DTs Pat and Kevin Williams. That gives Dillon the better shot at scoring this week, even though he will not get enough touches to have huge numbers.
Yds: 0/55/0, TDs: 1
Projected 11 points

Maroney at Minnesota:
In his homecoming, Maroney will not get a chance to break any longer runs. Maroney, a former University of Minnesota player, is the more explosive of the Patriots' two backs, but Minnesota's hard-nosed defense is unlikely to allow many big plays. The Patriots could turn to Corey Dillon a little more once they find out how difficult it is to run on the Vikings, reducing Maroney's chances of scoring this week.
Yds: 0/45/15, TDs: 0
Projected 5 points

Projections say that I should sit the Pats RBs and the fact that they split carries also supports that but its always more exciting to have players in the MNF game. Dillon got the TD carries last week and Maroney is back on his college field.

Wadda ya'll think?

Isn't there anyone available in FA?

Green. Given the defenses the others are facing it seems like an easy decision. Ooops, hold on, didn't see the two thing . . . went with Green and McAllister. The timeshare of Dillon and Maroney makes them both a tough start - although Maroney is my only RB this week in my 24 team league with Ronnie Brown on a bye.

It is but that's no way to pick your lineup

This coming from someone playing Maroney, Gostkowski, Pats D, Troy Williamson and Chad Jackson this week (hey, I said it's a 24 team league and I have Ronnie Brown and Larry Fitzgerald out).

FAs available are (with projected points):
Wali Lundy (14) at Tennessee
Jamal Lewis (5)
Kevan Barlow (9)

Yeah I guess I should explain that my line-up is so weak because I have Shaun Alexander and had Dominick Davis. Those really hurt but I'm not giving up, especially with the $ involved.

Keep in mind that if I go with a FA I have to hold them for two weeks and I am at my max # of RBs (5) so to get one I have to drop one.

I have Dillon and Maroney.
Every week i start one or the other
and yep u guessed it, every week im wrong.

My team starts 2 running backs 2 receivers and a Flex (rb/wr)
I'm going with this.....

QB: Delhomme
RB: Dillon
RB: Maroney
WR: Boldin
WR: Houshmanzadeh
WR: Wayne
TE: Colston
D: Chargers
K: Shayne graham

My team is 1-6. Really exciting stuff. So i decided to start both pats and maybe get something going. I am not playing Chester Taylor this week. I am probably wrong. But that would just make this week just like every other.

So start both.... I think we'll get 2 rushing TDs against Minnesota... and you should try and get both.

I would get Barlow because he is facing a weak run defense this week. Start Barlow with Ahman Green. Deuce will have a tough time I think facing the Ravens

Isn't Leon Washington the starting back in New York now after his td performance last week? i think he had a nice amount of yards too.....

Start Barlow if you are interested in 6 carries for 19 yards. That'd be a sweet decision.

Why wouldn't you listen to me? After all my team is 1-6.

Well head says start Deuce and Green.
Heart says start Dillon and Maroney.
Gut says start Green and Maroney.

I have a feeling Maroney could have a huge game because this is in his home state. He is gonna be pumped.

Minny D is good but I wouldn't buy the hype that they are going to shut down our run game so easily.

In the end, do whats fun. I think you'd have a hell of a lot more fun rooting on Dillon and Maroney than those other guys. I guess that's why I avoid drafting Patriots unless they slip down to me. I'd be way too tempted to start em even when facing a good defense.

Green and Maroney. From what I am understanding from Viking fans is that their linebackers although good are not fast. You can't run up the middle but if you can get the edge then you have a good chance of getting some yards.
