I think the stories will come out after he’s gone. From his family, coaches, players…I wonder what Bill is thinking. Maybe one day he’ll drop the character and we’ll find out. I’m sure he embraces the challenge of a rebuild, what coach wouldn’t, but sure seems to me that if Shula’s record meant that much to him it would be a lot easier to hit with the GOAT QB on his team.
People who rag on him might be missing that he is covering up for a lot of BS. Media bashes him for not being forthcoming. But he doesn’t want to bash a player on the way out.
I love me some Brady. But he was probably a major pain in the *** a lot of times. That’s fine. Posters talk about Brady putting up w BB, but they rarely consider that BB had to put up w Brady’s bs as well. It’s all good. I’ve long maintained that we shouldn’t be up n arms about Brady leaving. We should marvel at the fact he and BB made it work for two decades !
