Who would be the "other" 2 loss team from the Big Ten?
The only real argument would be bringing in the winner of the Big Ten title game (both with two losses Wisconsin/Penn St), and even then you'd need one of Clemson/Washington to lose.
Ohio St has one loss and a very impressive resume. I agree with you that PSU is not that good.
Well doesn't look like anything significant happening tonight as far as the playoffs are concerned, so my top 4 is the obvious: Alabama, OSU, Clemson, UW. Should Alabama fall next week, I still think they are a top-4 team and should go to the playoffs. OSU has a bye. And if Clemson or UW fall, I'd put in the winner of Wisconsin-Penn State.
I think you're right. OSU is getting in despite not even being in the Big Ten championship game, and the Big Ten champion may be out since the committee may not consider that winner to be better than Clemson or Washington.

I like Michigan (and felt like the referees robbed them, although it wouldn't have mattered if not for those two INT's). But the problem is I think Michigan is out regardless of what happens. The committee isn't going to pick two teams from the same conference and not have either be their conference's champion. Also there's no way they're putting three Big Ten teams in the playoffs. It's a shame because I still believe Michigan is better than OSU, and a definite top 4 team. But what I believe doesn't matter in the end, it's a results-based business. Alabama and OSU earned their spots, now it's down to two. PSU/Wisc winner stands to benefit most if Clemson or Washington faceplants.
