OT: Official 2020 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

It is all about culture. Brady brought that with him. Winning mentality. Family mentality. Push together towards a common goal. No egos. I wonder where Tom learned that
My guess is that Brady became who he is with the guidance from his parents and three older sisters. He already had IT when he went to college in Michigan.

his sisters? you know the all-american D1 pitcher...Brady grew up as the "little bro" commonly referred to as the Brady sister's little brother. if you understand the competitive spirit of the youngest in a family of hyper performers, you would understand these attributes were inherent in him. Obv being in NE and having BB aligned with his rise to ascension to the top
I just responded with something similar.

Really interested to see what Barrett's market will look like

Bucs are so going to whip our asses in that game this year. You know Brady will not let off the gas.

I hope we can make it a game but with Cam bouncing footballs in the dirt I dunno... there has to be another shoe or three to drop right?
We are gonna smoke them.

Jason Licht is killing it. Both David and Barrett signing for less than market value and of course TB12 always takes team friendly deals. Combine his FA signings with his drafts over the last few years - a genius.

Bucs are going 16-1 with the lone loss to the Patriots. Patriots won -loss record will be hmm,.. I'd rather not say.

I'll take that.

That is a great deal for the Bucs.

Schefter gets a lot of troll bots for some reason. They all follow almost the identical script <trash the team we're talking about><talk up another team>

Sort of surprised they brought back 3 of 3 of their expensive free agents. I sort of hoped they let one of the go as I'd rather have Gronk, Suh, Succop; and if the cost is reasonable Fournette/AB.

Now I'd guess Fournette and AB are gone.

Suh was good last year and especially in the SB. He might get a big overpay from another win now team.

But I'd be really pissed if our boy Gronk leaves. His fair value is probably between 7-9 million. I'm scared that the Dolphins might offer him 10 million plus and Bucs probably no more than 8 million. Dolphins has a former Patriot coach, lots of cap space, and probably wants guys who can help their young QB Tua. Gronk fits the bill of someone they would go aggressively for.

Gronk has said a few times he'd going back to Tampa and only wants to play for Tom

There is no way Gronk leaves Brady. Suh already said he is coming back so we'll see what they get done with him. The market is so bad right now for players that I think Tampa is going to get more bargains. No one right now is overpaying for guys like Gronk, Fournette or AB. They just don't have the cap to do it.

I wouldn’t be worried about Gronk. He’s not going anywhere. Zero chance.

They should have enough cap space to still sign most of those guys. Barrett’s cap hit is only 5.6 million this year. This is what Licht meant when he said the Glazers were willing to provide them all the money they needed. They’re using deals that give the players more upfront money in the form
of signing bonuses and the Glazers are writing big checks to these guys. They will likely continue to do the same for Gronk, Suh, Succop, and AB. Fournette may be lost but there’s no reason to overpay for a RB.

Maybe they can grab James White.
