Well it’s definitely not the same as a Patriots playoff game but I’m excited to watch Brady pad his legacy tonight. Sad the way it ended here but I’m happy I still get the chance to watch the greatest to ever do it.

My father was on a Bruins forum in the late 70's when Bobby Orr got screwed over and shipped to the Blackhawks. Well, it was actually a bar in Southie, but that was what constituted a message board back then.

There was a bitter, limp-**** in there spouting off how Bobby Orr's knees were shot, he hoped he lost every game in Chicago, and Don Cherry was responsible for his supposed greatness.

He got the sh!t kicked out of him because a little fist fight wasn't really a crime back then.

Who knows if it's a true story, but it was always my favorite bedtime story.

Tom wanted a multiyear contract after the 2018 SB. Bill only wanted to go year by year.

So after 2019 you could look at it as mutual divorce for irreconcilable difference. Or per Bill's motto, Brady was let go a year early rather than a year late.

But I think it was 2-3 years early

We saw it coming years ago. Brady kept on saying that he is playing until he is 45 and Bill has always moved on from players early, so yeah irreconcilable difference.

I do blame Kraft for not stepping in as ultimately they make the final decision on whether to give Brady that multiyear contract.

He knew AB was a difference maker. Losing him hurt although I blame AB for being an emotional idiot more than I blame Kraft.

Well said, me too. I don’t really get having another opinion. To be honest, I prefer this much more than Brady being here with what the team is now. They were able to stretch it out for 20 years which is freaking amazing, but now they have to do a rebuild and Brady gets tons of yards and TDs and a playoff appearance. I hope he wins the Super Bowl this year and the patriots win one again soon. Why the hell would you root for anything else?

Tampa has a pretty easy road to at least the NFC championship game. 7-9 washington and the 10-6 Rams.

Hell you can argue that the Packers have a harder road because they have to go through the second seeded saints (who I assume are going to win)

They don't have brackets. They reseed each round. So the Rams would play the Packers and TB goes to the Saints.
