LMFAO. Which quarterback doesn’t struggle under pressure? Name me one.
Of course they all do, but there are a couple who I saw that could get off an accurate pass even when players came in untouched. Tom Brady and Dan Marino.

that ability is the one that has decline the most over the last 3 years. Because past 40 he doesn’t want to take a huge hit for one pass. And I don’t blame him. It is probably how you can play a full season at 43.

Now if the pressure comes and he can’t avoid it, he bails quickly on the play. I’m sure he wills stands in the pocket and will deliver when the games are on the line in the playoffs.

What do you mean by pressure? Plenty of QBs do well under pressure with defenders coming at them from all angles. They pick up the blitz and get rid of the ball. If you mean struggle while being hit, then yes, I agree with you.

Damn as soon as TB12 has a bad game all the suspectible people come out...keep that same energy when he bounces back
The hyenas wait to pounce on this thread the minute he doesn't throw 4 touchdowns in a game.

His new favorite QB, Patrick Mahomes. He just ordered his autographed jersey. He took down Brady's and put it in the closet and now Mahomes hangs proudly on the wall next to his Lakers Lebron jersey and whomever won in the MLB recently.

The formula is pretty simple for the Bucs: Protect Tom Brady.

Brady was pressured all night against the Saints. Mostly inside. And what is Brady’s kryptonite all of his career ? Let me tell you... pressure inside.

Brady is not a mobile QB he cannot go out of the pocket and has limited movement left and right. Brady needs to be able to step up in his throws. If he can step up in the pocket he will destroy you. Against the Saints, he couldn’t because the pressure always came in front of him. The saints forced him to move left and right in the pocket.

when he was younger he would take some hits, now, not so much in the regular season, which is, in my opinion, smart. I’m confident that he will take those hits in the playoff.
Agreed. That's the book on him. He looked like he always does when he's not getting protection. Seen him have games like that with the Pats many times. I'm sure he'll bounce back when that improves.

I am not sure why people are acting like now at 43 Brady needs protection lol. Him along with every other QB to play the game need to not be getting hit 60 minutes a game.

And the Bucs are your new favorite team...

The ability to thrive under a situation where defenders are coming at them from all angles depends on an outlet receiver getting open on an underneath route. Routes 1-4 specifically. When the OC is calling 7-, 8-, and 9-routes in the face of the OL getting their tails whipped by stunts and twists, the greatest QBs aren’t going to be successful. This is a large part of why the Patriots defense has been successful at slowing down Mahomes since 2018. However, on Sunday night, it was also the latter happening to Brady as the offense, in general, was trying to get out of a big hole while Bowles thought it was a great idea to give Brees Cover-3 and Quarters even though he’s no threat to uncork one.

There are a number of QBs who seem to do well under pressure.

I agree that Tampa's coaching staff sucks (as I predicted). Brady is definitely missing Belichick and perhaps more importantly Scarnecchia. Bruce Arians has 1 playoff win as an HC and that was the infamous game where Rodgers was facemasked (uncalled) by a Cardinals defender on the game winning play.

Brady is the GOAT under pressure. But, even in his prime, he had times where he was ineffective while getting raped up and down the field. I don’t think I need to mention the one game that springs to mind immediately. And he doesn’t miss Bill NEARLY as much as Bill misses him. Brady’s not getting exposed for being “done,” as was the popular talking point around here last season. Bill is, however, getting exposed as a sub-.500 HC. It matches his career record as a HC without Brady.

Then Kraft ought to fire Bill if for no other reason than the entertainment value for what will happen after that. I'll watch and LMAO at the Patsies when they don't sniff .500 for the rest of the decade.

I think it's too early to make a judgment on who is more valuable, Belichick or Brady. Brady has pretty much everything he needs in Tampa except a coaching staff. Bill has pretty much nothing to work with...mostly his own doing. I do think if it weren't for Covid we'd be at least 4-3 with wins against KC and Denver.

The 2020 Patriots would be better this year with Brady than they are without.

That doesn't mean they'd be better than the 2019 Patriots who finished the year with a whimper. I doubt the result this year would be better than it was last year.

Kraft’s not a drooling idiot who would purposely tank his season ticket sales like that. BB’s opportunity to right his ship as a HC without Brady begins in 2021.

Maybe Denver, but not KC. Too many balls have been going the other way for Cam. You don’t throw two TDs (none to WRs or TEs) at the halfway point and magically get to a winning record.

I think a crap team would do that, no matter who the coach is. We know that the "heir" Josh is not an NFL head coach. His track record speaks for itself.

I agree that there are no excuses starting next year. If the team is no better then there will be questions about Bill's future. The optics right now are they suck without Brady and fair or not it's what we know.

KC had an off day. Maybe they still would have lost but I'm sure he could have done better than Hoyer and Stid.
