A pass catching tailback could be an immediate contributorBrady should be an MVP contender this year. The draft for Tampa is House Money

The 10 year drought never happens had they retained some key guys.
There was no need to let Welker walk for the same money we were offering. Clearly we pissed him offThe 10 year drought never happens had they retained some key guys.
Samuels would have been good. We were like 30th 31st passing defense in 2010-2011
He recently admitted on Terrell Owens's YouTube channel that he wanted to leave the Pats after the 2006 season. He didn't like Bill and claims he held Samuel back.Samuels would have been good. We were like 30th 31st passing defense in 2010-2011
I don't think Welker would've been the difference in 2013 as he had two straight seasons of back breaking drops in the playoffs. I was ready to let him walk. I absolutely hated letting Givens walk and then trading Branch. There was no need to let Welker walk for the same money we were offering. Clearly we pissed him off
The one that REALLY pissed me off was letting Jabar Gaffney walk. He gave us 450-500 yards per year for 2 years at a fantastic 12 yard per reception in limited snaps. We offered him $2m and he left for $2.5m or something. It PISSED me off. And he did 700-900 yards next 3 years and was an amazing value pickup by Broncos. BB’s penny pinching can bite back as well. The 10 year drought never happens had they retained some key guys.
Probably your worst take everI don't think Welker would've been the difference in 2013 as he had two straight seasons of back breaking drops in the playoffs. I was ready to let him walk.

Sorry, but I was done with him after the 3rd down chain moving drop against the Ravens in the 2nd half with the lead that would've put them in the Ravens territory. Offense went to s*** after that.Probably your worst take ever
In the playoffs, from the 2010 - 2012 season, Welker caught 74% of all passes sent his way. In 2011, he caught 19 of 23 targets. In 2012, he racked up over 100 yards in both games, and was the only receiver on the team to reach 100 in either. So being "done" with him is idiotic.Sorry, but I was done with him after the 3rd down chain moving drop against the Ravens in the 2nd half with the lead that would've put them in the Ravens territory. He dropped them when it mattered. In the playoffs, from the 2010 - 2012 season, Welker caught 74% of all passes sent his way. In 2011, he caught 19 of 23 targets. So being "done" with him is idiotic.
That's beyond silly. It's the playoffs. They all matter. He dropped them when it mattered.
Look at the show show Edelman put on against the "Legion of Boom" two years later. That's beyond silly. It's the playoffs. They all matter.
You do realize that Edelman's had bad drops in the playoffs, right?Look at the show show Edelman put on against the "Legion of Boom" two years later.
Was he not a major reason for their comeback? He did it again in 2016. Welker was out of the league. You do realize that Edelman's had bad drops in the playoffs, right?
Yeah I had to think about that one for a second. He never played with Manning. F**cking hell man at least if you are gonna do your "$h1t on BB" routine at least be right about what you are talking about. He went to Denver because McDaniels sold him on having a bigger role than he had in NE behind Moss & Welker.
But by all means continue spewing $h1t without actual facts
Edelman caught only 5 of 13 targets in the SB against Atlanta. In terms of catch percentage, that was the second worst playoff game of his NFL career. Was he not a major reason for their comeback? He did it again in 2016. Welker was out of the league.
I'm not even sure what we're arguing as my initial argument was he wouldn't have helped the Pats enough in 2013.
Let's just put that aside because that argument is irrelevant to my initial argument. You think Welker would've helped the Pats take out the Broncos in 2013?Edelman caught only 5 of 13 targets in the SB against Atlanta. In terms of catch percentage, that was the second worst playoff game of his NFL career.
