Do you remember when the NFL experimented with the "Madden cam" in 2003 where we saw some plays live from the camera is that is dangling over the field? It still did not give the ALL-22 feel because I don't believe the wide outs were always visible.
I recall not liking it though because you really lost the "depth perception". A pass would be completed and you wouldn't be able to tell if it was for 15 yards or 20 yards.
I think an ALL 22 look would be great for rewatching tape but not for showing live footage. It's a shame that the NFL doesn't want to release it.
