Found this... a history of all the combinations of scores in the NFL. Cool stuff.

There has never been a 2-2 final score in the NFL. The Pats-Giants game sounds like a good candidate for the first.

There has been two 3-2 final score games. Dayton Triangles 3 Cleveland Indians 2 in 1921. I wonder who the winning pitcher was? Lol

It was either Fay Abbot or Al Mahrt... Most likely Mahrt who had a whopping 2 passing TDs that year

Both played the quarter back position, which really isn't like the modern day quarterback... If you understand the positioning system from the 1920s that will make sense... If not, eh, it's not hard to figure out

Hey don't knock the Triangles! They, along with the Bears & Cardinals, were the only franchises to have played every season throughout the 1920s;
they also, in a round-about way, are the ancestors of the Indianapolis Colts, for better or worse...

Doesn’t Will Ferrell play for them?

Yes, it is (theoretically) possible for a team to finish a game with exactly 1 point although clearly no one ever has.

This chart looks like it could give us some good insight into the odds in a squares football pool that your square will hit the final score.

Always thought the 2 and 2 square was the worst one...this chart says that's only happened 9 times in NFL history so yeah probably not a great square to have..
