This SEEMS to be what is happening...as one can piece together a few reports from sports and news sources...
For one, the NFL said that LA or Phoenix would not be sites for the game...
BOTH make sense, but clearly by doing that, they have already made up their minds...SD will have their home game.
Even thopugh there WERE 12K people there, it seems today that according to CNN, the large amount of people are being transported out..supposedly for more long term shelters...OR as some of them have said, to make room for a football game.
Whether this is being driven by the NFL and/or Mator of SD and/or the Charger org, I find it offensive that this is being done. Ut's a BIG dsiaster there..and I think taking care of the people is quite MORE important than having any game there.
Starting to smell pretty bad there....seems like SOME politicians want to have the game there to put on a "happy face"..celebrating that the city is OK.
I just think it's a BIT too soon with so many people losing homes..and fires NOT being totally under control or out.
I think this is a BAD decision by Goodell...he should have mobed it at the start of the week so that plans could have beenn made..
