Yeah, they got lucky the year they made the playoffs but Josh didn't do much if anything to improve the team.

they tried to get over the hump with signing Chandler and Adams, and paid their RB big money. they also changed QB's.
an argument can be made that the Raiders missed on all 4 major decisions.
Josh tried, but failed.

Because it was widely talked about during the 1st half of the '20 season. They were running BA's system. Tom began incorporating plays he liked w/ leftwich and turned it around after the bye. It was a mesh. Evans isn't smart enough to pick up the EP system on the fly. Gronk and AB yes.

Yes, but everyone is different. Plus saying millennials can't make sight adjustments is garbage. Julian Edelman is millennial.

I buy more into the notion BB isn't as much of a stickler/hard-ass on details in every facet of the operation is why they suck.

We also had those 2017 leaks of Pats coaching staff saying they felt Bill could win with any decent QB and that Brady wasn’t that important. They were all sniffing their own farts and didn’t know how lucky they were

It really goes against the “Patriot Way”, “Do Your Job” and “Humble Pie”, etc. Seems pretty fraudulent.

Ive been running businesses for years. My staffs have ranged in size from 4-20+ and are predominantly made up of millennials. The generational gap is just as real now as it is with every generation. My disagreement is with throwing neurodivergence in as an excuse as to why the EP offense isn’t succeeding at the moment. Not only is it insulting to neurodivergent people, it’s also unfair to neurotypical people.

Haven't read the whole thread, so pardon me if this was discussed: McD and probably Zeigler are being paid by the Raiders for a long time to come. Which means Bill can bring them in as "special assistant to the GM" and/or "QB nanny" and pay them next to nothing.

I hope one of the changes the team makes this winter is to get a real coaching staff with dedicated roles like other teams instead of a small group of Bill puppets with multiple titles.

Yeah funny that BB has dedicated position players (like long snapper) because of the importance of just that one position to not have to juggle multiple roles, but here he is having people juggle multiple coaching roles.

That’s Mark Davis. He’s been in charge for 12 years and has hired 8 head coaches, he needs to hire one of those firms to hire the next coach, when the owner is clueless then the whole organization is.

He'll just end up firing the firm.
