OT - Jets players rip Sanchez, say he's lazy

I love how Mangold goes on Twitter and the radio and says that the stories are false and Jets fans say "See, it is the media out to get the Jets." Granted they choose to ignore that when Santonio Holmes threw the o-line under the bus in the media and the o-line shot back in the media, Mangold came out and said Holmes is a professional, well liked, and tries really hard. And we know those are three lies right there.

It was Mangold's attempt to show Belichick "I can put the team in the best light possible to the media.
SOS! Please save me! SOS!

I love all the posters on the Jets sites dismissing the article because of the 'anonymous sources', as if this sort of story is usually full of nothing but fully attributed quotes. :bricks:

Can it get any lower for that franchise? All this finger pointing and calling out of players, you can place that on the head coach. Obviously there is no locker room control.

However, Pats fans have bigger better things to worry about. Like playoff football!!!

even when people were calling sanchez sanchize. i always thought he was a little punk who is afraid of opposing defenses, who would rather do a photoshoot then work hard in practice.

maybe im wrong but i dont think so.

Does any one remember when sanchez said he felt bad for brady the first time he played the jets in NJ???

that guys funny isnt he?

Lazy? Entitled? Complacent? Not a hard worker? Yup, Mark Sanchez went to USC after all.

Greetings,
Has any college in recent memory turned out so many Quarterbacks who were nothing but bust in the NFL. Ironically, the best Quarterback from USC in the NFL today never played a down at USC and drafted in the seventh round.

This does not surprise me... Sanchize comes from a college program/area of the country notorious for a lackadaisical, care-free attitude regarding competitive sports. I mean, the shot of him wolfing down a hot-dog on the sidelines was all the proof I needed that this guy does not have the work ethic of a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. The upper echelon quarterbacks in this league are consumed not with pig fodder, but with pigskin during the game.

Seems likely that the anonymous sources were probably Jets defensive players (Santonio Holmes is one offensive player I can see talking about this as well... anonymously... considering the obvious).

and tacos... you could you forget tacos...

...Fish tacos.

Wait, this is a Sanchez rip... Carne Asada tacos.

I'm here here all week gentlemen, and the next, a quick break, and the next. But that'll be it.

Greetings,
I would not be surprised if Lady T was one of the "annonymus players" ripping him.

The reporter has said that the player sources were not practice players, and were "significant" players on both sides of the ball. So far, that seems to be all we've got to go on.

I love bashing Sanchez as much as the next Pats fans but I don't understand the criticism of him eating a hot dog on the sidelines, players drink plenty of fluids when they're thirsty, why the big deal if a player eats while hungry?

NFL.com news: Jets players rip Sanchez as 'lazy' amid dreams of Manning

If the Jets dont make a serious move to bring in another QB then we really dont have anything to worry about, if a franchise QB needs external motivation in order to drive him then that franchise isn't worth much.

They would be STUPID not to take a chance on a guy like Hoyer...but then again they're the Jets

Don't you just love anonymous quotes? I have zero respect for players who run their mouths off the record but don't man up in the media.
That is of course if a Jet player actually did say those things to that mediot. Mediots would never make up anonymous quotes to bring attention and mojo to their work now would they....
Mark Sanchez has shown he can play in the NFL, has a history of being good when it matters most (unlike Paaaay'n) and will be fine if he can just get with a quality OC and a professional HC instead of a class clown like Rexy.

So you ARE a Jets fan!

I'm starting to feel bad for Sanchez. Sometimes he says things that are clueless, but I don't recall him ever saying anything bad about anyone. The backstabbing is unbelievable.

You're kidding. Right?
