OT: Jets-Bengals Game Thread

Jets have the better chance of beating indy and possibly, just possibly, playing in NE in 2 weeks.

I hope they at least beat indy to a pulp.

Sanchez is playing great, hardly terrrible.

If benson was on the scrap heap, why didn't we get him? Too buys chasing washed up WRs and even trading draft picks for them, like that loser from the eaglets?

BB screwed up on that one.

As a Jets fan, you gotta be happy the Jets are winning today. Congrats!

we dont need another RB and both defenses are suspect against the run. Actually all AFC defenses have issues stopping the run except the ravens

Jus grabbed Sanchez's stats from ESPN.com:

C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT RATING
M. Sanchez 9/12 120 10.0 1 0 134.0

Actually the Bengals had a good run defense, but are depleted at the LB corp.

Won't it be ironic if the Jets end up beating the Colts next week. The team that laid down so they could get in.

it pisses meoff that the jets might advance farther than the pats will after winning the division.

We have 4 good RB's, we didn't need Benson. Bengals were more lucky than smart anyways, who could have seen Benson being this good after his stint with Chicago?

Jets look good.

Well, they are using him smartly in this game. Not too many risky passes, not asking him to make huge plays other than that one Edwards dropped. Luckily for them the Bengals are sending extra people to rush the passer and not getting close too.

It will be interesting to see how he does when Freeney and Mathis rush him next week. Well, I hope they are seeing the Colts.

It was a low risk, high reward move for a team that didn't really have a RB when they picked him up. I don't know if it was lucky. He was considered the best RB in the draft the year he was drafted by many people.

thanks for playing bengals...

Jets 58 Bengals 7 so far in last 6 days

I'm actually not, but I don't hate them the way some pats fans do.

Sanchez has poise you have to admit that. And the fat coach is comical but a pretty good coach. So what if he's a blow hard.

I want someone to beat the colts senseless. It would be shakespearean if the jetsies did it as they wouldn't be here if it weren't fo rhtem.

Now T Jones to pound the rock!

No answer for the blitz whatsoever. I hope our offense won't be like this w/o 83

Bengals really could have used Rey Mauluaga today. Patriots could have used him this year too.

And Palmer is really overrated.

Sanchez is great when they don't ask him to do too much and just manage the game. When they ask him to carry the offense, he sucks big times. Again, all seven of their losses are when he was asked to throw more than 20 times in a game. He isn't nearly as good as you make him out to be.

As for Ryan, the jury is still out for him too. I think he is a great defensive mind, but three weeks ago the Jets were nearly out of the playoffs and faced two teams that backed off and had a lot of teams ahead of them like the Dolphins fall apart.
