I don't hate Mangini. Not just because I'm a contrarian little ****, which I am, but because I heard 3rd hand that supposedly Spygate was not his intention. That the whole thing with the cameras was Magnini trying to F with Bill for the purposes of a little gamesmanship and then the Jets and the league ran with it and it blew up in his face.

I'm more bitter about the story that he was trying to poach assistants from us on the plane ride back from Denver.

He did say exactly that in an interview I saw with him somewhere. The one where he said he felt sorry about the whole thing and wishes he had thought better of it.

I still can't stand him.

Belichick tree. Being anywhere near Belichick in New England or Cleveland is like a golden goose for people in the NFL. I should of moved to Ohio when I was 15 and watered the grass. I'd be HC of Chicago right now.
