Got a soft spot for the Texans for all the obvious reasons. Since Watson took over as starter they lead the league in scoring.

How legit is this team? I'm beginning to think that Watson might not only be the real deal, but might be one of the few actually elite QBs that will define the Post-Brady era for the NFL.

If they keep playing like this I'm honestly going to be very surprised if they aren't vying for a bye. I know they're only 3-3 but if they can keep playing this well on offense and their defense plays up to the standards of previous years...

Bradys heir apparent will define the post Brady era, and we will continue to dominate

It's still early but watson looks like real deal. I thought the pats gm was a fluke but then he put up big numbers the following two gms. Losing 2 of arguably their 3 best defenders may hurt them especially in the playoffs where the nfl let's the players play more and throw less flags

Patriots South. I like that. How does it feel to be part of a cheating organization Bob McNair! Go **** yourself *******!

That's hilarious.

Yeah Watson looks like one of the best QBs to enter the league in years. He has the leadership skills and poise under pressure that so many others lack.

People who believe this need to watch more football, they really only have one major thing in common.

For all the talk about how great their defense is, they hasn’t been good at all.

Watson looks good but it is too early to say he is the real deal. Only six games in.

I believe Watson is the real deal. He has been developing quickly. Once he matures more, I expect him to rely on his wheels less and run a Patriots-like spread quick passing game with occasional deep shots and scramble plays a la Rodgers.

I strongly recommend this film review of him:

The sample for achieving greatness in the nfl is a minimum of 3-5 years of sustained performance.

And it’s not like Pats fans are rooting for him to be great

Losing Watt & Mercilus is the equivalent of losing Richard Seymour & Willie McGinest om the 2003-2004 SB teams. You can’t just replace those players.

Watson will need to continue to be hot if the Texans want a shot at the SB. Their full strength team could have won the whole thing IMO.

I don’t think so. Watson, thus far anyway, looks to throw from the pocket first and uses his legs second. He’ll have more career longevity just for that reason alone.

The Texans are very for real and if their defense regains it’s form, they’re the biggest threat in the AFC. I think the second half of the season will spell that out. Hopefully Watson hits the rookie wall at some point.

Watson has what it takes. His performances against Alabama were incredible. He willed Clemson to a win last year when they were otherwise outmatched. He doesn't play an unsustainable style, and he showed steady improvement in college. There's no reason to think that he's already peaked. I think he's the real deal.

I haven't seen a ton of his games, but he seems like a more mobile Joe Flacco. There have been a lot of throws from him where he just heaves it up and let's his WRs try and out jump the defenders.

I think the new QB is for real, but we should be able to determine that by time playoffs start better

I think the two big injuries to Yheir D line holds that team back from being a true contender in AFC this year

I want to wait and see the Colts hire a real coach and get some pieces next year and the Jags to get a quarterback and then we'll see how good Bill O'Brien and the Texans really are.

My guess is they are the beneficiaries of a weak division and a QB with not much film on him.

They finally got a warm body at QB but their defense is slipping now.
