Oh come on are you for real? A 51 yarder and I think it was 56 actually but either way, for the game with all that noise under all that pressure, whats the percentage chances of that happening?

Personally I would never have enough faith in a kicker to make that FG given the situation and distance.

You do realize that ALL he had to do was scramble out of bounds maybe pick up a yard or two maybe lose a yard or two and then with almost no time on the clock it would have given them a CHANCE to win the game.

It's irrelevant (kinda ) how far the kick was, they had a chance - and really, isn't that all you need? Just a chance.

What he ultimately did was give them a ZERO chance to win the game in regulation with a stupid mistake.

If you don't see this, then you are a Farve apologist. I guess that's ok, dude has a lot of fans.

Personally? I hope he comes back next season. I hope he doesn't waffle on it (he probably will) and comes back for another year with the Vikings.

The issue many have with Favre is that they don't believe for a second he ever waffled on playing any of the last 4/5 years he has done the waffling act. It is just a way to get the press coverage he adores in the offseason.

I fully agree that the waffling is annoying. That's my only major problem with him. Other than that, the guy is still a competitor and is still capable of playing the game at a high level. If he wants to keep playing, I wouldn't mind it. Like I said, he makes the game better.

And every year when Lord Favre prematurely announces his retirement, the NFL network gives him a week long tribute. I hate watching Favre's greatest games. Its worse than watching Facts of Life re-runs.
