Wanny is good at winning games when all of the following applies.

- The game means a lot for the other team
- It means nothing for his team
- He is in danger of being fired
- The game is on the road
- His team is absolutely terrible and shouldn't win.

That was his BCS game last night. Now when they decide who plays for the championship, some schools will be upset. There is absolutely no reason not to have a playoff system. It works in college basketball (over 3 weeks) and they have it in Division 1-AA ( or whatever they call it now) and div 2 and 3.....
Can you imagine if they did have one and held the championship game on the off week between the NFL conference championships and the Super Bowl? Great ratings and everybody's happy and being that the playoffs are over Christmas break for the most part, it wouldn't interfere with school for all those student athletes, as the NCAA once stated as an objection.....

As for the BCS I can't get in to College football until they get a playoff system that isn't a joke.

Every year I hope for a clustermuck in the college football standings. They deserve every bit of controversy in determining a college champion. There has been teams who have finished undefeated and ignored (SEC, Penn. St.) or teams undefeated, but given the; well, they could never beat....(Hawaii).
Kansas just lost to Missouri, thus, didn't make their league championship game, they'll probably go to the championship game. Then you have Ohio State, who hasn't played a game lately and will not for another month. If the lone one loss team doesn't go, then the committee can determine a team from a half dozen two loss teams. Isn't it grand!
