Even if you accept Kraft's acceptance of the penalties, how come he wasn't there, in person to support Tom at the appeal? Yes he is one of the 32 but when one half of the reason for your franchise's success ( and 1/2 the reason you have made a great deal of money) asks you to be there, you find a way to support your star employee...... How else do you explain Mr. Kraft's action other than he really didn't believe Brady was innocent and showed it by staying away.... From the PR point of view, the optics as they say would have been helpful seeing a united front. That's my take on it....

I agree that at first Kraft may have believed that something occurred, but I think that had more to do with the lies about the numbers that were spread by the Mort Distort. By the time Brady got to the appeal Kraft had to know the truth and probably was just siding with his fellow owners over the NFLPA. I suppose we'll never know for sure.

I was out in public today shopping at the grocery store...stopped by the seafood counter to get some filets and got in a conversation with the guy working there about the Brady case and Goodell. In the course of conversation the word ****DELL slipped out. Got some condescending looks from a couple of middle aged matrons and I apologized. When I told them I meant GOODELL one of the ladies said to me "oh you mean THAT azzhole?"...hilarity ensued. Must have been ten people laughing out loud for a good minute.

What matters to me is the difference between right and wrong and the ability in this country to express my opinion on this and more important matters. Apparently blind obedience to the authority figure who you feel is infallible is your way of living and you are welcome to it. In a broader picture , when injustice has happened in this world, I have tried to be on the side of right versus wrong. I can only imagine what your position would be. My opinion of Kraft's decisions since 2007 has not changed and has been totally detrimental to the team and its fans. I have no problems exchanging ideas with you. My positions have consistent since I joined this board. I have followed the Pats since 1960 so I realize that we have the best owner for the team because he hired the best coach and has the best quarterback of alltime. He was an exemplary owner until 2007 when he decided the Commissioner and his fellow owners were more important than his coach who he called a schmuck and the reputation of his team. Consequently he let the POS take away a first round pick which was an unheard of penalty for a technicality without a whimper. He became the most vociferous supporter of the POS in the intervening period including when Goodell lied about the Rice tape. Now we come to the latest incident. Kraft knew that the charge was bogus and he was talking about demanding an apology which I supported in my posts. What transpires is a pathetic whimpering acceptance of the penalties for the good of the league and his beloved fellow owners in effect throwing Brady under the bus like he did BB before. That he subsequently stated he made a mistake trusting the NFL attorney Pash is just a PR stunt that people like you swallowed. If Kraft had just showed the same amount of courage that Hunt did in protesting the penalty, i would have applauded that instead the POS knows a patsy and is preparing the next bogus penalty. Let me just add if you can find one statement by Kraft blaming Goodell for anything, I will apologize to you.
One other point which you and you fellow koolaid swallowers believe, is that the loss of first round draft picks don't hurt the future of the team. I just wonder if we had the first round pick that taken from us in 2007 if that could have produced another superbowl. We will be able to see on this coming Thursday the players we could have except for the bogus penalty. This is of course not even considering the possibility of losing Brady for games. By the way I could pull up all your posts and it would reveal just a bunch of the same picture and a never ending collection of apologies for whatever Kraft said or did.
I do not presume to judge your morality but I just hold a different point of view of how to face injustice than you or your idol, Kraft. It has been my experience that capitulate to injustice only results in more injustice.Maybe turning the other cheek works for you.
I also believe that history shows that true believers like yourself have a real problem when the person they believe in is wrong.
