If there's a bunch of them getting positives, then the unvaccinated are likely to get pulled due to contact tracing. I can't fathom how you could be in the same locker room as all these guys, including the head coach, and somehow not be within some range of risk according to protocols.

That's what he SAID. Allergies to polyethylene glycol are extremely rare, though, so he was likely just making it up. And he could have gone with J&J, which has no PEG in it at all.

He was blowing his load on Twitter in the offseason about conspiracy theories. Then he claimed the ingredient was only in the mRNA vaccines but he couldn't do J&J because supposedly a bunch of people he knew got sick from it.

He lied/manipulated at numerous steps in the process about his status.

I know plenty of people who got the vaccine and still contracted COVID. Including 2 that died. The only "pre-existing" condition that one of them had was that he was 80. Otherwise, in perfect health.

I'm masking up as of today and I just got my booster last week.

I have to say I'm more than a little pissed at those who stalled or refuse to take the vaccines. We had a decent chance to end this pandemic but some chose political gain over the nation's health and well being. History will tell of lost opportunities. We didn't get the shot in a optimal time. We didn't support a world wide effort to get the entire planet vaccinated. Instead we chose to play viral Russian roulette until the inevitable mutations arose to threaten our medical and economic well being......AGAIN!

So thanks a lot all the tin hat conspiracy theorists. You got exactly what you wanted another boogey man to rail at. While the rest of us have to live with the results of your WILLFUL inaction.... selfish pricks. Maybe the Global instabilities that a CONTINUAL global pandemic causes is just what you want. More fear, more anger, more uncertainty, is the fodder that "strong man" rulers yearn for. Scared people are people who don't care about civil rights, tolerance, and democracy. That's what fascists look for. Much easier to scapegoat minorities and blame anyone but themselves for the state of the world.

The sad part about this is, especially as a former history teacher, its a "been there, done that" scenario. NOTHING new to be seen here. This is just a remake of a movie that been played over and over again. It is not even a sequel. A sequel implies something new has been added. That's just how sad this is.

They were designed to minimize the deadly affects of the illness and keep hospitalizations to a minimum. But the longer these viruses are around the more they mutate and often become more deadly. The FACT is that the unvaccinated are over 95% more likely to catch and spread the disease than someone who is vaccinated.

The solution is so F*cking simple and we've done it on a lOT of occasions before without ANY of the drama that the political opportunists have added. But ou4 society is so stupid we allowed extinct diseases like measles to come back under the banner of "my individual rights". .....And I'm off again. But I REALLY have to stop. I promised myself I'd go back to the gym for the first time in close to 2 years today, and continuing this rant is my last excuse.

That is bulls*t. There is only one ingredient common to both the mRNA vaccines, and it is an obscure lipid (DSCP) that is an ingredient only in a couple of chemo drugs. There is literally no way Rogers could know that he was allergic to that common ingredient.

I think we would know if he had been treated with a high-level chemo drug for cancer. That lipid simply isn't in other drugs. And then there is always the JNJ vaccine that doesn't have it. The reasonable conclusion here is that he is lying or listening to some quack.
