Indeed, as a fellow Maritimer, I think the 2pm start time is my favourite start time. Least favourite? Monday nights all the way. I looked at the clock last night once the MNF game actually started and it was 9:40pm...

Not good, I too like the 1pm starts but I'd rather play at night in Miami, too hot for our team thats not used to it. That said it wouldn't effect the outcome of the game.

The chances of heat playing much of a factor on Dec. 6 is unlikely. To the contrary, the HFA is probably diminished with the 1pm start time.

Night games are an "event" in South Florida. Day games---eh....not so much. So with the day games, you may see a 60-70% filled stadium capacity.

The Miami road gm is usually like a home crowd for the Pats--it's crazy how many Pats fans show up. The 49-28 game I was at, I'd say there were at least 30,000 Pats fans and they were chanting "Let's go Red Sox" in the second quarter(Sox were playing Gm 7 of ALCS that day)

Not good, I too like the 1pm starts but I'd rather play at night in Miami, too hot for our team thats not used to it. That said it wouldn't effect the outcome of the game.

Generally the temperatures cool off in Florida around November 1st. While a mini-heat wave is still certainly possible, the heat and humidity is very rarely a factor in a game played in December.

Generally the temperatures cool off in Florida around November 1st. While a mini-heat wave is still certainly possible, the heat and humidity is very rarely a factor in a game played in December.

Yeah, the highs for Miami the next four days are 83°F, 80°F, 80°F, 73°F. Weather won't be a problem unless it's a monsoon.

We haven't won a NBC SNF game since 2007, so take that for what it's worth.

How the hell are the Pats only on in prime time 3 times? They deserve at least 4 prime time games. Its pisses me off.

This is GREAT news. I hate it when the Patriots are on NBC, the Pats have lost every game they have been on Sunday night with them other than the 3 wins in the 16-0 2007 season. Weather won't be an issue in December in the afternoon in Miami.

This is awesome for the team, and AWESOME for me!

I am going to Vegas that weekend with my wife, and her aunt and uncle, and was SICK to my stomach about driving back DURING the Sunday Night game.

Now I'll just excuse myself to a Patriots friendly bar in Vegas at 10 AM to watch it!

The Sports Book at the Bellagio is a great place to watch all NFL games on a Sunday in Vegas (free drinks), but you have to get there early to get a seat!!

With the dolphins losing Ronnie Brown, the Pats have no business losing to them. I'm happy they changed the game to an earlier game, waiting all those hours for the Pats to play on sunday sucks.

We were 0-2 on SNF in 2006, and we've been 0-3 since the beginning of the 2008 season.

In 2007 we were 3-0 of course.
