Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu done for the season with torn ACL

He stated that his knee was "loose" after the game last night, which is what Dion Lewis said after he got injured. IMO this is a big loss for Arizona and changes things a bit in the NFC. I wish the pats had drafted him.

Mathieu hurt himself when the game was already out of reach for Philly. After the jets game I hope Bill rests all the important players vs Miami. let Brady play a quarter and get him out of there. Same with Gronk.

Wow, that's a huge loss for the Cardinals. They can still compete with the Panthers, but their margin for error is pretty much gone.

The road to SB50 just got easier for Carolina.

Good. It will be fun to hand them their only loss.

Or lose and have the embarrassing stigma of having been the speed bump for a team to finally go perfect after we choked our own chance away.

I want nothing to do with Carolina if they are 18-0.

Why? All the pressure will be on them in the super bowl to go undefeated. I would be more afraid of Arizona and their really good WRs.

Huge blow to AZ.

In 2013 it was his left ACL...now his right leg. Ugh.

People around the country don't unjustly despise the Panthers and wish for them to fail miserably like they all did with us back in 2007. They dont have nearly the same pressure.

That really sucks, right now (or before this news) the Cardinals are the most complete team in all phases with good coaching running the show, I think is a bad match up for the Pats if both teams make the SB, but I'd rather see the Cardinals win than Cam Douche.

Chicken!

I will play any 18-0 team every year it happens to an nfc team as that would mean we are in the super bowl. To win a super bowl your usually playing a pretty good team who cares if their record is 18-0 or 16-2. Hell we lost to a 7 loss team in the SB.

Yup. I remember back in the espn board days, after 18-1, people talking how they would rather miss the playoffs than go to the SB and lose... textbook loser's mentality I told them. You can't win the SB if you're not in the SB. Preferring to avoid the chance of losing rather than grasping for the chance of winning is as "loserish" as it gets IMO.

Yep. I can't wait to see them choke in the playoffs. They should have the same record as us right now.

You don't think there will be enormous pressure on the panthers to beat the big bad cheating patriots?

Yeah, pretty much everyone would be rooting for them. Although why, I have no idea. Newton is really good, but I despise him.

Post season my man Wilson will put the Panthers down like a rabid dog! ...er cat!

I could see it. And Id happily take it.
Right now it's...

1- CAR
2- AZ
3- GB
4- WAS
5- SEA
6-MN

So GB beats MN and SEA beats WAS.

I guess MN could pull the upset but not likely.

SEA goes to CAR and GB goes to AZ.

SEA and CAR will be a war.
