Did you know you could save 15% or more on your insurance in just 15 minutes or less?
The punishment is in direct proportion to the attention the media gives it. Basically it's like a decibel meter for noise, only it's media covered based. Thought everyone knew this?
Absolutely correct. You will hear that the degree of punishment determines how bad of an offense it is. "Look how severe the punishment was. The Pats must have done something really significant to get hammered that bad."
Yet the media determines how much attention the story gets.
When Spygate occurred the Patriots were a recent dynasty that had been dominating the league for years and we're not well liked.
The media had the opportunity to expose the Pats as frauds; what a bombshell story that will be!
Never mind that the actual story didn't match the narrative. What if the Pats had done the same with the video cameras as they did in Spygate, but were the same bumbling team they had been until Parcells took over? What would the punishment have been?
I think we know the answer to that. The punishment would have been like the Rats got for Trip gate and their numerous tamperings, what Denver got for taping the 49ers walkthrough, or the Browns will get for this.
