You know he’s recruiting when he meets these players as well.
Imagine Tom and Josh in Mayes ear.
MVP.
Until the league opens an investigation against the Patriots for salary cap circumvention paying Brady much lower than the market rate for QBs over the years with a nudge wink deal to take partial ownership when he's done.We made a huge mistake not using this asset.

Yeah. It didn't matter for us in week 1 but I'd have a big problem with that if we were playing the Raiders shortly after Brady calls a Patriots game. The fact that he is able to sit in preproduction meetings with the teams he is broadcasting games for and then potentially give any information he gleans to his team. He was the commentator for the Commanders last week, and guess who the Raiders’ next opponent is? The Commanders.
I think it's been fun to still have him so visibly in the public eye. I think he's getting much better in the booth. I don't think the other 31 were ever going to let us do this with Tom so let him have fun with the Raiders. I wish it was the Bucs or someone other than the Raiders but whatever.Really haven't been a fan of Brady's post-playing career in general. He has been mediocre in the booth. The previously aforementioned Raiders ownership. Shilling for crypto scams and now selling his soul for some Saudi payday to play flag football or whatever that Fanatics weasel has cooked up.
I doubt Brady is getting any groundbreaking information on a weekly basis in preproduction meetings but he could certainly pick up on the injury status of players and even the future of certain players on the team or scheme changes adjustments etc. Wouldn't surprise me if after seeing him in the booth last night coaches around the league give him pretty much zero in the meetings going forward (if they were giving him much to begin with).Yeah. Florio might be annoying 90% of the time but when he really gets pissed off about something he hammers at it and makes sure it stays on the radar.Mike Florio has been going off about this for a while now. Here’s his latest. Pointing out not so much about individual game info, but info on players and coaches to target later.
Monday night magnified Tom Brady's conflict of interest
Everything about this situation annoys me. The laughable notion that Brady has nothing to do with the Raiders offense on game day while he is sitting there next to the coaches in the booth with a headset on. The fact that he is able to sit in preproduction meetings with the teams he is broadcasting games for and then potentially give any information he gleans to his team. He was the commentator for the Commanders last week, and guess who the Raiders’ next opponent is? The Commanders. Such a ridiculous conflict of interest. It still annoys me that Kraft didn't give him the same sweetheart deal that Fredo Davis did out there in Vegas. Statues and ceremonies will get Brady here for that day, and that is about it; meanwhile, he is traveling with Vegas to games in his free time and actively involved in running the team.

Tom Brady's aspirations go beyond owning just 10% of the team. He'll never do better than that here with the ownership structure in place for decades to come. It isn't a good fit for either party. It still annoys me that Kraft didn't give him the same sweetheart deal that Fredo Davis did out there in Vegas. Seems to me that, given the value of the Raiders, they've already made a huge ROI.You were right to emphasize that point. There is real cash money at stake here.
Tom Brady and partner Tom Wagner to pay over $200 million for stake in Las Vegas Raiders
Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, will own 10% of the Las Vegas Raiders along with his business partner.www.nbclosangeles.com
Brady brought his very wealthy "business partner" along for the ride, if not more.
There has to be a lot of pressure on Brady to make that $200M investment pay off.
No one parks that much money in one place not expecting a significant ROI.
This whole situation stinks to the high heavens, IMO.
Disappointed to see his last sentence in that article. It's not accurate and he should know better. "(Goodell) suspended Brady 10 years ago for cheating"... no that's not why he was suspended.Florio might be annoying 90% of the time but when he really gets pissed off about something he hammers at it and makes sure it stays on the radar.
